Working with distributed collaborations

I have created a distributed collaboration, sent the invite and accepted on the end as well as joined the workspace.Now here is my problem, I can see that my layers have been shared on the AGOL notifications but when I come to the enterprise side I can not see my layers.

I hope you are well! In order to better advise, it would be great if we would gather a little more information about how the collaboration is configured: 

  • What version of ArcGIS Enterprise is being used with ArcGIS Online in the distributed collaboration?
  • Is the collaboration configured for send, receive or send and receive? 
  • How is the data shared between the Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, is it as references or as copies? 
  • If it is set as copies, what is the sync interval set, and do the layers shared have the sync capability enabled?
