Publishing mxd file that contains mosaic has a problem,

I wanted to publish mxd file that has one mosaic and one feature class.

It is published successful but as the service is added to the ArcMap and a zoom is applied (for example 1:1000), the mosaic disappears and produces black\white cells.

At scale 1:200,000, the service is displayed properly

What might be the issue here?

Thank you
Best

Jamal,

Have you built pyramids and statistics on the mosaic dataset?

Mosaic dataset overviews: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//009t00000040000000

It looks like the data is not available for that scale range.

Here are other forum post that seems similar:

I??m not sure if this issue is related to image type.

I converted the ecw images to jpg and all works fine. The Mosaic and its service are successfully created.

The screenshots in the first post here disappears due to upgrade! How can they be recovered?

Hi Jamal, unfortunately we don't have a way to recover old images from a post. We haven not had a recent upgrade so I am not sure what may have caused them to disappear. I will post the question to our vendor support team for further investigation.
