Generate renderer problem on layers which have subtype

I am trying to use generate renderer for dynamic map service layer. It is working fine except if the layer has subtype and the field has coded value domain. In this situation it is not grouping the values, listing the values as multiple. 

I am using ArcGIS server 10.5.1

Is there any solution for this?

Thank you Adrian for your response. But i try several symbology alternatives according to their comments but nothing changed.
