Change default sort to 'Title' in group application?

I have made a simple app from a group. When the app is opened, sorting defaults to 'Relevance.' I tried to change it to 'Title' in the app configuration but it did not stick and 'Relevance' is what the user sees.

Is it possible to default to 'Title'?
