Unable open imagery layer in MapViewer or Scene Viewer, but can open in MapViewer Classic

Trying to open an imagery layer published from a cloud datastore in Portal (11.3) map viewer, but not loading. The error is: Illegal Argument Exception: Cannot create SpatialReference from text.

However, if the same layer is open in Map Viewer Classic, it opens. After that if open in Map Viewer it works. 

Ideally, I would like to add this as a layer in a Scene Viewer, but there it throws the above error and no option to add it.

Has anyone come across this? Is there any workaround?

Hi @Thomas_Puthusserry what is the spatial reference of your imagery layer? Does it match that of your basemap in Map Viewer / Map Viewer Classic / Scene Viewer?

It may also be worth checking the network traffic in the browser's developer tools for any useful messages when the error occurs
