Portal - point symbology error

Curious if others have experienced any issue when changing point data symbology in a Portal webmap (v10.3 served up internally).

I can change polygon/line symbology without any mishaps however, when I try to adjust point data symbology:

I automatically get an error:

And then I'm hooped...

I'm at a loss... what gives?

Problem solved...

Ran full Portal indexer (reindex) and that seemed to sort out the issue.

https://host.domain.ca:7443/arcgis/portaladmin/system/indexer

Good find, Douglas.  Something to keep in mind for anyone else who runs into an issue where symbols, groups, users, or other items are not visible is to run a full Portal reindex.  This issue may occur during an upgrade of Portal from one version to another:
