Hi,

it's been a while since I worked with ArcGIS 10 so please excuse my question...
I created a feature class and labeled it for different scales (ie. 500, 1000, 1500).
When I convert these labels into annotations I just get the ones in the current used scale.

current ArcGIS scale = 1.250
active label class = 1000
-> converting labels to annotations will result in a feature class with all 3 label classes but with just the annotations for class 1000.

Is this behaviour expected?
Is there a way to get all annotations for my 3 classes in just one step and in one annotation feature class?

Hi Ben,

Annotation needs to be generated at a specific scale - if there is a reference scale set in the map, this is used, otherwise the anno is generated at the current scale. If you want to create anno for multiple scales at once, you will need to use the Tiled Labels to Annotation tool: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/#/Tiled_Labels_To_Annotation/007000000007000000/
