Adding Custom symbols in ArcGIS Entreprise enviroment (Portal)

Hi

We want to use Custom Symbols in our Map services in the Portal.

We have followed this recipe:

We have accomplished to complete all the steps, but when we want to add custom symbology to a service, the symbol is different from what we have uploaded. (we have just uploaded 1 symbol to keep things simple)

Here is a screen shot from Portal, trying to add symbols to a map.

And here you see a screenshot of the symbol in the folder:

Questions:

1) Anyone know where we have gone wrong? Anyone have a more detailed recipe? 

2) Are there alternativ methods for applying custom symbols?  fx using Arcade?
