add attribute to polygons

Hi there,

I have a presumably very simple case for you.
I have a lot of polygons (river basins) extracted from a DEM.
For these basins, I measured concentration in elements. I would simply like to add these concentration to each polygon, in order to map my results, as well as changing the symbology if needed.
I work with ArcGIS9.3
