ArcGIS Enterprise Kubernetes EKS and AKS - service recycling

Kubernetes services such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) create cluster nodes and pods configured in UTC timezone.  One impact is that recycling of ArcGIS Enterprise services occurs at 00:00 UTC.  This could be during business hours in a number of global regions.

Has anyone encountered this?  Is the solution to reconfigure the timezone of the cluster nodes?  How would K8S patching/updates affect this?
Would configuring the timezone in pods as they are instantiated be a better solution?

There are many suggestions when I use a search engine for a solution.  But I would like to hear from Esri or other ArcGIS Enterprise customers who have encountered this.  What is the best solution for an ArcGIS Enterprise EKS/AKS deployment?
