how to completely uninstall previous ArcGIS program

Hi guys,

I would like to install ArcGIS in my desktop unfortunately i cannot install it because i still have old version of ArcGIS installed in my desktop but i already erased it even folders in drive C.

I also clicked the UninstallUtility and it says that i can now install the program but still I cannot install the ArcDesktop.

Ho can that be?

Please help me on this.

I assume that you have full rights on the folders jayanta.poddar , has mentioned in his earlier comment? It is crucial that you remove or rename the the registry keys that he has mentioned.

If in case you do not have the required privileges, I'd suggest you to contact the IT team and have them remove the application and the registry keys.
