Tracklog for Collector?

I'm excited to be playing with Collector.  One requirement from one of my user groups is a tracklog (had it in ArcPad), where points of your location are just constantly stored in the background or out of the way of the editable features.  Seems this has to be possible in Collector, anyone have elegant solutions or suggestions?  Thanks!

You can create a tracking layer with a feature service template and then configure the web map to set the log interval rate in the Collector.
