Hi !

The panorama textures and reflection maps ( seen only if the material has shininess and reflectivity activated ) are stored in the ce.lib project. [The ce.lib project is a bit special and by default not visible within CityEngine]

Just select the panorama layer, then browse for some other images. You can of course also create your own..

Ok ?

Hi Matt,
Right, I do have the Panorama layer in the navigator and the inspector "visible" activated but it doesn´t show up in the viewport.

My best,

Hi !

Stupid question, sorry, but:
did you browse for the new panorama in the Inspector to actually select the files that are supposed to be displayed ?

Otherwise, can you post a screenshot with everything visible ?

lemme know ..

Thanks for the feedback.

Looks good so far.

Do you get any related errors in the Log ? Window > Show Log ..

Use the big red cross in the log to delete the rest of the log, then try to reassign the new panorama ..

Hi Matt,
No related error in the log.
I reassigned a new panorama, it doesn´t appear either ...and the error log stays blank !
BUT on another view of the perspective I found a kind of shadow on the "blank sky" ,the panorama being visible or not, impossible to select it ,thus to delete it.
Here goes a screen shot:
Thanks for the brainstorming !

Hi again !
Look what I just found out :
1- the panorama appears as a 3D heightmap (?????) and what is seen in my previous screenshot is the edge of it
2- the screenshot "capture 1" shows the terrain and the 3D panorama
3- a front view of the terrain in "capture 2" shows the 3D panorama flying in the space and its correct positionning in the viewport of
    my project !!!!

I will attach "capture 2" in my next message
