ESRI API Jupyter Notebook tutorial question...

Hello everyone!
I am ecstatic to be diving in deeper to python and really gaining some degree of proficiency with it ! In working through this tutorial: Download data | ArcGIS for Developers , I keep running across an error after having invoked the code listed, I keep running into an issue where the "data" directory is NOT, in fact, being created at the said directory (C:/Users/firstname.lastname)
I've tried several times - running the script and then checking in My Computer and the folder isn't there... I'm a bit confused... any input?
