Experience Builder - search widget text - how to change font color to meet contrast requirements?

Hi all,

In the search widget, the text, "Find address or place", default grey on white is not contrast accessible. 

Is there a place to change this text color or text size or make bold? It doesn't seem to follow any of the changes I make in the style tab of the search widget.

And it isn't following the theme text colors. The grey text shown in the overlay button below is a darker grey.

I don't see anything to change this either. They are addressing these issues to support.. have you contacted them?

I have started the Esri Case. The good news is the Calcite Theme does have a grey text color in the default search widget that meets contrast requirements. So I'm going to switch to the Calcite Theme and modify colors and fonts from there. I'll update when the Esri Case has moved forward.

This has been logged as BUG-000184916. Status: In Review. I'm not sure if Esri will prioritize accessibility concerns or not. It used to be that the more people that attached cases to a BUG, the faster they would correct it. So if you have a free hour - start a Tech support chat and ask to be added to this BUG.
