Flip stream polylines based on preliminary DEM

I want to generate a DEM using Topo to Raster and using the stream data, but my streams are digitized both up-stream and down-stream.

But, if I generate a preliminary DEM without using the streams, I might use that DEM to automatically correct the stream directions based on the elevation at each end of each stream line.

Has anyone made a script/extension that does this?

You're working with a topo layer and and separate stream layer, or is this from a single layer?

I am pretty sure the Topo to Raster tools needs the streams to be 3D polylines otherwise it will not work correctly.  If you just need to flip the orientation of the line then select it while editing, right click and flip.
