I can see all of the features I've created thus far in the attribute table. The definition queries are clear. When I add the data to a new map, I can only see the spatial data when I'm zoomed out past 1:150,000 scale. That's the strangest part for me, because the minimum and maximum visible scale is nulled. I don't know if it is a work space issue (I don't think it should be). I'm pulling the data from a .gdb with a lot of domains and subtype codes. Thanks for responding, Zach

I'm experiencing an issue in which I create polylines that disappear at the end of the editing session. Has anyone experienced this before? The data remains in the attribute table (with a theshape length field populated correctly), but all graphic spatial data disappears. I've checked the minimum and maximum scale. Neither are set. Thanks for your time.

I was on here earlier today trying to figure out how to embedd a map into a webpage from my ArcGIS Online account. Well, everything is working now except for one thing. When I enter my username and password as prompted, it says I've entered it incorrectly. I know for a fact that this is not true. Does anyone know what is wrong? Also, ArcGIS Online is saying that I have to allow everyone to see my map before I can embed it. The problem with that is that I'm currently mapping company-confidential data. So, that is out of the question. How do I get around this?

Hello all, I'm trying to create an embedded map using Javascript from my contents on ArcGIS Online. I'm a complete beginner in Javascript. The tutorials online give me some idea of the basic structure of Javascript and dijits, but I still don't know how to reference MY custom maps in the code. Is there a URL I need to insert? Maybe a file location or type I need to add? Is there a program that I need? Could someone explain this as though I stepped out of a time machine from the early 90's?

I've been trying to import a .dwg into my .mxd file, but the spatial data is off by a few hundred.... million meters. This is what I've tried: 1.)Matching the coordinate system (the coordinate systems didn't match when I got the data). However, matching the coordinate system doesn't seem to make much of a difference at all. 2.) Changing the coordinate system in AutoCAD, resulting in the same issue as problem #1. 3.) Introducing Lat/Long data and readjusting accordingly. While this worked on the point .shp's, the polygons and polylines didn't budge. 4.) A VB script of "[Shape]= [Shape].Move(-16870270.697m,-156400382.481m)". Similarly "[Shape]= [Shape].Move(-16870270.697,-156400382.481)", "[Shape]= [Shape].move(-16870270.697,-156400382.481)", and all manner of variations. Each time, I recieved a non-descrpitive error message. 5.) Finally, Spatial Adjustment. I set the adjust data appropiately. I've placed my displacement links to what I think is appropiate. I set my adjustment method to edge snap. But in the end I always get a non-descript error message. Could the ESRI community help me with this issue? Is there a way I could move all lines in reference to the displacement links I set? I appreciate your time. Zach

This seems to be a pretty universal problem. My point shape files have lat/long values in the billions no matter what program I define the spatial reference in. I hope this thread gets answered.
