I have the same issue. Proper extensions are checked out and the correct toolbox is imported. None of the problematic extensions are installed. 64 bit background processing is not installed. My command looks like this: arcpy.SpatialETLTool_cdwdev(Driving_Distance_gdb, Destination_ODBC_3_x_Dataset_) Error message: AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute, 'SpatialETLTool_cdwdev' My alias of cdwdev is set correctly. Any ideas?

One additional question has come up with my model. It's working great (thanks again) but I need to iterate through the origins as they can range from 5,000 to 60,000. I know there are iterators I can add to model so I am trying to figure out which one. I have a feature class called Origin_FC that I can iterate through, should I use Feature Selection or Feature Classes iterator? One more question, is it possible to find the drive time and drive distance using one OD Cost Matrix? In this model I am going through with two matrices, one to find the distance and one to find the time. Thanks! If it makes sense to start a new thread, I can do that.

Thanks. I will try those items and if nothing works I will call support. How do I launch into the ETL tool? I've looked at that in the past but can't remember how to find it.

Hi Bruce, Good question. Those functions do not work with PDA (Netezza). They do work just fine going to SQL server but unfortunately I need to send this information over to Netezza. I'm not really concerned about the warning, but the fact that 0 features were written is the real issue here. It's weird how this works perfectly with point features but no line features.

I'm having an issue using the Quick Export feature to our enterprise database. In the past I have used quick export to write point features to our database without any issues. For this task, I am trying to write out line features to the same database. The connection is good but I am seeing a strange warning message in the results: Has anyone seen this message before? What should I do to correct this? This particular line feature is created using an OD Cost Matrix using model builder. Here is the output portion of that model: If I need to adjust how my model is creating the feature class, I can do that, as my end goal is to export this data correctly to the database. The feature class I am trying to export: Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks!!! I looked all over for the select data module and could not find it. As the other person stated i will need to send this to a geodatabase so is there a certain tool I should use for that? Im guessing there are a few that would get the job done. Thanks again!!!

I've created a model using model builder for an OD Cost Matrix and it's working quite well. The part I am struggling with is getting the lines layer out of the network analysis data that is created using the model builder framework. Below is the last portion of my model and I need to know what tools I can use to finish the job (take the line layers table and turn that into a permanent feature class and/or write to a geodatabase. It should be simple but I just can't figure out which modules to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We also have business analyst licensed and the our network dataset is from that package. Does it make sense to use BA for this type of project? I'm guessing Network Analyst is still the answer since I want to do this in a batch mode at some point in time and I'm not sure BA lends itself to that. I'm planning to call ESRI this afternoon to see about getting some advice from them. Every little bit helps!

Thanks for the good information! I will look at some of the links you all have posted. At the end of the day, we just want to store the driving distance for each visit. We are not concerned with the route at this point in time. Also, thanks for the heads up on the oddities that can happen with network analyst and the streets dataset. This still appears to be a daunting task but hopefully it's not too bad.

I'm able to simply this task a bit. What we have is the patient X/Y and location X/Y for every visit. We want to see how far they drove for each visit. We have all the X/Y data and I have the network data, my only question is how do I package this all together to the distance (in miles) for each visit? Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. For this project, we actually want to store the driving distance to each location in our geodatabase. At this point we are not concerned about which location they should go to or which one is closer, we just want to store all of these data points for further analysis.

We have a complex problem to solve using our health care data. We want to take each patient and calculate driving distance (miles) to each of our 40 locations. I have the lat/long for all patients and all locations. Also, I have the network street data. I've never used network analyst so I am not sure it can handle this. Does anyone have any experience doing this type of routing? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
