Thanks for sharing this, Matthew. I was just going to write my own version and you saved me a bunch of time. Worked perfectly in 10.7. Cheers!

Yeah, creating keyframes for dozens of layers is a real drag, especially when it doesn't work well.

Hi George, Previously we had been able to resolve the csv issue by checking that box, but after some recent agency-wide changes, that box is checked by default and cannot be unchecked. And now the issue is back without the same fix available. Have you guys seen similar issues recently? Thanks,Mark

Just to add some more context to this issue, we currently have an app where one of the layers contains a slideshow in the popups of before/during/after images for a respective project. The query widget allows users to query this layer in several ways. Once the query is run, that slideshow is invoked in the original layer popup, query results and temporary query layer popup. Invoking the slideshow simultaneously in three different places causes the app to function improperly. We can avoid errors in the app by configuring the query widget not to display the field containing the slideshows, however, when we do this the popup for the temp layer appears first which makes the user think there is no slideshow. Users cannot be expected to navigate from the first duplicated popup (with no slideshow) to the second duplicated popup (with a slideshow). If we could configure the query widget not to activate popups for the temp layer, our problems would be solved.

Hi Christine, I didn’t even have a key for ArcGISPro in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, just HKEY_CURRENT_USER. I bet that is because I have Pro installed for a single user, not multiple users. I ended up resolving the issue my customer was having, which was that Hydro was creating bogus results in Pro. Her problem was she had the wrong hydro version installed for her versions of Pro and ArcMap. But I did add the key Hydro is looking for and I will test the installation when I get a chance. Thanks for the help! Mark

Hi Christine, when I try to install the latest version of Hydro for Pro on Pro 2.1.2, I get an error that I need Pro 1.2 or greater. Has anyone else had this issue and gotten around it? Thanks, Mark

Hi Kory, I don't know that I have much substance to add to this topic, but do know that many of the folks in my community would like that functionality as well. The reasons why things are currently the way they are make sense and the workflows that you envision for working within Pro also make technical sense. But consider that the way software 'feels' to a user may be as important as what it can technically do. I would argue one point, which is that the real estate in the map is greater than the real estate of the map frame within the layout, and some folks may be more comfortable working that way where they can see details just a bit better. Also, many folks will often only have one map frame within a layout and it's just a bit annoying to have to scale the map twice. I agree with other users above, and can speak for many people in our organization, that having some kind of obvious function where you can link the map frame with the map would be helpful. How you implement that functionality seems less important -- it could be a simple right-click --> "link map frame to map." Just my two cents....
