Currently, my workaround is creating a new layer using the Feature Outline Masks tool and then publishing that to AGOL with the rest of my data. It sort of creates a polygon for each letter in the annotation layer, which I just symbolize as solid black. Thank you for the workaround, I tried using a file GDB feature class as a template to import into an enterprise GDB and it defaulted Double fields to 38/8 which will at least be able to accommodate my longer values. ... View more

This is absolutely insane that you can't change the settings of all the fields when you create a new feature class or table. I'm constantly baffled and disappointed with ArcGIS Pro. The only tool I can find that even acknowledges scale/precision exists is the Add Field tool. Alter Field and Add Fields (plural) don't let you pick scale or precision, importing a full feature class changes them from whatever they were to 7/1, using Create Feature Class wizard and importing fields defaults to 7/1, using Create Feature Class wizard and adding a double field from scratch defaults to 7/1. I have 20 fields I need to import and I'm going to have to create the feature class and then use the Add Field tool 20 times which is ridiculous when I could have just imported the fields in ArcMap in 5 seconds. ... It shows the basemaps in the order you choose in the AGOL map viewer, but not in any apps that you create which makes no sense. The Basemap widget in Experience Builder, etc. should have similar options for sorting when synching with the organization basemap gallery. ... View more

Our parcels use true curves when we create them from COGO using the Traverse tool, and they look fine in ArcGIS Pro.   But in ArcGIS Online, they look like jagged edges. This could affect the various widgets that are selecting abutters and other features based on a buffer not to mention it just makes them look unprofessional.   ... View more

There do now seem to be several different text types that you can put into layouts. The "Rectangle Text" still will not let you vertically justify for some reason, but there is a "Straight Text" option, where the bounding box is tight to the text, that you could at least combine with a rectangle shape, vertically align, and get a similar result. Crazy that basic editing workflows are not being made available to license levels like Contributor and Mobile Worker. It seems to me that, unless you were a huge organization, it would be rare to have folks who ONLY edit in the field or ONLY edit in the office. And for non-GIS folks to need to have the desktop software license level to make small edits in AGOL and Portal doesn't make sense. ... View more
