Sorry to dig up an old message. We do this (export from the portal site instead of giswebdr) due to the size of our federated infrastructure (was taking up to 24 hours to backup). However, what do we do about the logfile accumulation? Do we need to manually clear them? @Anonymous User

We are using Web App Builder with Enterprise 10.8.1 When we do a search and the result is selected (using Robert's eSearch), opening a different widget causes the selection to be de-selected. This prevents the print widget from being able to print attributes. Any idea how to retain the selection?

HI Robert, Jeff Pace from Manatee County, FL. Hope you are well. We are implementing both your eSearch and eIdentify widgets, and we got a request. Is there any chance you can add the "export to csv" option to the eIdentify widget? Thanks in advance.

I added some code https://jsbin.com/laruyoture/edit?html,output This should show you how to access the route object and stop objects from the routeResult once it returns. https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jsapi/routeresult-amd.html

Has anyone come up with an alternative to Streetmap Premium and HERE Traffic for live traffic routing? The solution perfectly fits our needs, but the $200,000+ annual pricetag (combined for the two services) is orders of magnitude more than we can justify. I am happy to do whatever data processing, scripting, and programming is necessary, but I am not sure if anyone has come up with any other solutions that would yield an ESRI Routing Service with traffic enabled.

For example, the workflow I invision is Select item in map with objectid (objectid) Embedded content url would update to https://host/site?objectid={objectid} and refresh page Similiarily, it would be nice if embedded content could "subscribe" to map events via the url, such as feature selections, extent changes, layer visibility, etc.

I looked into hacking the textarea option the the dgrid dijit but it looks like alot of ESRI implementation is hardcoded to text. Would it be possible to add the textarea option since it is supported by dojo? here is an example Test Cell Editors if you set the componenttype to text area and click in the cell you will see the difference.

We have been encourage to migrate from Oracle to SQL server for multiple reasons. In doing a gap analysis, most of what we do seems pretty transportable. The one thing we seem to be missing is sde.st_transform. We keep our data natively in State Plane, but create spatial views to show the data in different coordinate systems, or to add Lat/Long coordinates, or to union datasets in different systems. This is an absolute necessity to be able to do live. Is there any solution at all ?

This is just one 30 overlays we need to do. Parcels update nightly from the PAO, so we are trying to update the overlays. Right now we do those once a month, but new parcels do not pick up the overlays until that runs, so we were trying to do it in sync with the parcel updates.

Thanks for the reply Its a county. 230k parcels. 7832 floodzones. The group by parcelid is necessary for LISTAGG to group the results I have not done in python as I am unaware of an equivalent python capability

Looking for help to optimize a SQL query in ORACLE. What this does is Take two polygon layers, overlay/intersect them, and where they intersect, summarize the attributes of the overlay to a aggregate list if the area of intersection is more than 15% of the source poly. SELECT hashid, --this is an aggregate function that sorts and groups overlayed floodzones by parcel LISTAGG (TO_CHAR (fld_zone), '','') WITHIN GROUP (ORDER BY fld_zone) FLOODZONE FROM MCGIS.FEMA_2014_FLOOD_ZONES e, parcel.parcels_mv p WHERE --get matching polygons st_intersects (p.shape, e.shape) = 1 AND --use polygon if more than 15% overlay (st_area (st_intersection (p.shape, e.shape))) / st_area (p.shape) >.15 --summarize by hashid GROUP BY hashid It works perfectly, but takes like 3 hours. i have 30 of these to do every night. Anything i can do to speed it up? Both layers have spatial indexes, and there are attribute indexes on both HASHID and FLD_ZONE fields. This produces results like HASHID FLOODZONE 124345 AE,X 124346 X 124347 AE,B,X instead of HASHID FLOODZONE 124345 AE 124345 X 124346 X 124347 AE 124347 B 124347 X
