From my understanding, we cannot include interactive linear features (poly lines) in the map. Instead, appears we are limited to points and polygons. When will polylines be available? We want to be able to display custom, private polyline features in our reports for analysis.

Team, two items I wanted to bring up for reference: When viewing attachments on v17.0.3 in iOS 11, what I presume are the "(navigate) back" and "share" buttons do not display at the top left and top right of the window, despite being interactive. All I see is a white ribbon at the top of the page. Would you please clarify if this is a known bug and if you'd be able to resolve? For now, I plan to bring this up to our users on how to navigate if they run into this issue. After I removed maps from AGOL then managed the data in Collector to remove the downloaded maps, Collector shut down without prompt numerous times when I tried to access the app. Closing the app manually and restarting my phone did not resolve the issue. Each time I opened the app, Collector closed itself almost immediately. I was unable to log myself out of the app manually. I resolved by deleting the app from my device and reinstalling. While this may have been an anomaly, I wanted to bring to your attention.

I do want to be able to access when not on a VPN. To clarify, I'm using mymachine/arcgis/rest/services/SampleService/MapServer. Each time I access this via desktop or mobile I am prompted for GIS Server credentials ane sometimes a security certificate alert (desktop alert attached. mobile alert says "cannot verify the identity of 'mymachine' "the server's certficate is invalid... Would you like to conenct anyway?" I press continue, and it connects). The credentials do not appear saved, ever. Is there a way to save the credentials of the feature layer? I believe the only time I've seen ability to save credentials is via FeatureServer instead of MapServer layer. Accessing via incognito tab I am provided an error using the same mymachine/arcgis/rest/services/SampleService/MapServer URL. I never make it to the authentication prompt.I run into this issue under regular use of Chrome as well. I get a "The layer, layer_name, cannot be added to the map" when just trying to view the feature layer in AGOL via Chrome. In IE, I am merely prompted for authentication to the GIS Server. After I submit GIS Server credentials in IE, the layer loads. When I try to access via the outward facing service, I'm prompted for windows authentication, which I submit. Then when I enter the GIS Server credentials afterwards, the GIS Server credentials do not authenticate and bring up the map service, despite the same credentials reaching the service directly via URL instead of the AGOL prompt. As I have been unsuccessful to access via this outward facing service, I am trying to come up with how to resolve. For example, do all internal and external facing GIS Server URL's need to be added as trusted sites in AGOL?

Hi Alexander, Should this be from the <localhost> or outward facing service? From what I've seen, the <localhost> service can connect from the web and server manager login, while the outward facing service is unable to load as it tries to load via /sharing/proxy? and retrieves a status: 401 when hitting /arcgis/tokens (per the Error prompt). While loading from <localhost>, I'm prompted with "credential required. you need to sign in to access the resource". Would you mind potentially sending me a message to discuss in more detail?

Hi, In order to minimize log-in prompts for our users and avoid potentially having data not load due to authentication issues, I am looking to push data from GIS Server/Enterprise to AGOL and stream in Explorer without the additional log-in prompt from our Server/Enterprise. Is there a specific security combination in Server/Enterprise required for this or specific data types that work easier than others? Ie: windows domain user store, gis server build in role store, gis server authenitcation tier, gis token authentication mode in Server/Enterprise and/or Feature layers rather than rest services of a MapServer in AGOL?

Doug, thank you for the prompt reply! Specifically, at this time I am looking for deep-linking capabilities within the pop-up supported out of the box for Collector. Workflow would be as follows: open Collector, data loads, click on the data, data table pops-up in the out of the box pop-up, deep-link attribute is clickable in the out of the box pop-up, then all I'd need is to click on the deep-link and it takes me to my desired location.

Jeff (or anyone else on the team!), Where do you stand with implementing the additional offline capabilities similar to how Collector allows a specified area to be taken offline? Last I heard from the team was Fall 2017. I am hoping you may be able to shed some light on the prioritization of this feature and approximate deployment schedule. Also, any reason why it takes so long to load data attribution in the popup for this app in comparison to Collector? It's a small nuisance, albeit a nuisance nonetheless. A faster response time of the data would be ideal. When I compare the same dataset between Collector and Explorer, clicking on the data to bring up the popup takes approximately 10x the duration on Explorer. Meanwhile, Collector takes ~10x the duration to draw the data initially. Any plans to get the best response time to 1) initially load the spatial data and 2) load the data attribution pop-up on both applications?

Related to custom URL schemes, please add both box:// and boxapp:// schemas to your whitelist of apps Collector is able to integrate with! This is already enabled with GIS Explorer and I would appreciate this being enabled on Collector as well! I was hoping this was going to be included on yesterday's update, is there any way this can be pushed up in the near term? Thank you!

In Collector there's a syncing button with maps downloaded offline. Is this feature available in Explorer with the .mmpks? If not, is it planned to be included/when? Looking for simplest workflow to ensure users have latest data hosted in AGOL/Enterprise downloaded to their phones for offline capability. Thank you!

Team, What are the general data size limitations where we start to see reduced performance with Explorer? 1 GB? 10GB? 100GB? What recommendations do you have in order to keep performance at a quality UX?

17.1.1 - URL Scheme: Support box application - CONFIRMED! Thank you so much for including this one! Will really add to our existing workflow. Do you happen to know if this would be accounted for in Collector as well? Or happen to know anyone from their team I could make this request to be included as well? Would be nice if apps were white-listed across all ESRI apps. As a side note, I have to agree with Robert Harris that the data is taking a long time for the pop-up to load. While Explorer loads the spatial representations of our data much faster than Collector, the pop-up window appears to spin for 10-20 seconds before opening, which is much slower than Collector. Collector loads the spatial representations much slower, but the pop-up loads nearly instant.

Joel thank you so much for the responses and looking to potentially have Box added to the whitelist during this cominrelease. Seems like a really supportive team for the app. I am looking forward to potentially deploying a new project with Explorer supporting our workflows. Yes I currently use desktop, although also have pro available. Generally I configure data in desktop to a map in AGOL, where sometimes I edit the data attribution table to test different URLs and deep links. URLs work in AGOL, while deep link ive been unable to resolve. Neither URL or deep-link have resolved for me in Explorer. Box schema to be added to the white list is as follows: boxapp:// box:// also opens the app, but appears insufficient in functionality from my testing.

Joel, Thank you for taking the time to review and comment. Previously with Collector, our URL's would display in any text field if they were entered. No other formatting occurred other than ensuring the field containing the URL was enabled before pushing to AGOL. No formatting as hyperlink or anything like that. As for deep-linking, the deep link URL returns as text instead a clickable link in both Explorer and Collector. Specifically, I am looking to deep-link Box with Explorer. So far, the deep-links I've configured in both Explorer and Collector have not been clickable links in either ESRI app's attribute tables. Ideally, a pop-up attribute table in Explorer would contain a clickable deep link to Box (or any other app of my choosing), where the deep-link would resolve whether or not the user is connected online. Granted the information would need to be accessible on both apps offline, although the first step would be to ensure the deep-links are clickable within Explorer (as well as other ESRI applications). Similar to the urls I test above, I've only copy/paste deep-link url. These deep-links resolve to the app when test in a mobile browser. If there's a specific workflow I should be following when configuring data in desktop or AGOL before consuming in Explorer, please let me know.

Additionally, it would be great to know if deep linking capabilities to other apps exists, whether the deep linking functions with offline capabilities.
