What does the red circle with a number '1' indicate in the image for the survey titled 'Monarch Monitoring SOP3...'? The field user attempted to submit a completed survey and it did not go through (the details on exactly what happened when she hit submit are a bit fuzzy). There is no Outbox shown on the Survey homepage. The homepage only contains options for 'Collect' and 'Sent'. The survey that she submitted is not shown in the 'Sent' box and is not in the AGOL feature layer. Thank you!

Just in case anyone else runs into this, the issue was that I was using "date(decimal-date-time..." and should have been using "date-time(decimal-date-time) to convert the collected date fields into the proper decimal-date-time format as required when using web forms.

Ismael Chivite James Tedrick I am having difficulties with a calculation that would simply add 1 day to the date question collected in Survey123. The form is a web form, so I am converting the date to decimal-date-time and then attempting to add 1.00000008 (1 day in DDT). This works perfectly in Survey123 Connect, and it seems to work when I submit data in my webform. It does not work however when anyone outside of my time zone submits data. I have attempted to pull UTC offset and calculate the date with a UTC offset and then add one day, but I cannot get that calculation to work properly. The numbers appearance looks and functions great on a tablet or phone. When I attempt to enter data from the Survey123 app on my PC, I am forced to use the numbers pad in Survey123 (click on the numbers with my mouse), and can no longer type in the numbers using my keyboard (or hit 'tab' to go to the next question). This slows down data entry when using a PC. What is the best appearance to use for number fields where data will be entered on tablets and PCs? Thanks, Dan

Hi Doug, I don't have grid set at all. I didn't think these question types require a grid theme? The single choice grid works properly when I remove my 5 page breaks (field-list appearance) and just have a survey with 1 page. Thank you, Dan

I can't seem to get the single choice grid to work on a survey with multiple pages (groups with appearance type 'field-list'). I added a group within page 3 of my survey and configured the subsequent questions to be a single choice grid, and the questions don't appear at all in the survey. When I remove the 'field-list' appearance from my survey making it all one page, the single choice grid works great. Can you have a 'table-list' group within a 'field-list' group? Thank you! Dan

Hi Phil, Thank you for your reply. I was able to fix this issue by manually editing the forminfo.json file as it had somehow reverted back to an old form name (the one from the last survey season that I had used to create this season's forms). I'm not sure how or why this reverted back after 2 months of successful field work and multiple republishes of the survey to add new domain values for pick lists? Once I made that change and republished the form, the crews were able to redownload and submit all of their stuck data. I did try an access the iteminfo file through itunes, but since they switched to the 'File Sharing' feature, I am not able to open any folders through itunes. For example, in the screen capture below, I am able to see my ArcGIS folder that would have the 'My Surveys' folder and corresponding data, but itunes will not allow me to open this folder. I can save the entire folder to my local machine and swap out the iteminfo file, but then there is no way to load them back onto the ipad through itunes. The 'Add File' button only allows you to add individual files and not folders. Maybe I will need to download one of the other apps that you recommended (although this can be tricky with IT restrictions). It would be great if we could access the survey files through itunes like we used to be able to do. Thank you again, Dan

I have 4 surveys that have recently quit working after performing well for 3 months. All 4 of them now stall when a user tries to submit data. The wheel spins at 'Getting service information'. The problem appears to be that these surveys were originally published by copying the previous year's forms and publishing them fresh to be used for the current year. New folders, feature services, and forms were created in AGOL and used successfully. I republished the forms a couple of weeks ago using Connect 3.5, and the forms no longer worked. When I look at the form info in 'My Survey Designs' and in 'My Surveys', the inteminfo file is different. The iteminfo file in 'My Surveys' is now the old file from the previous year's form (with the previous year's feature service). I am able to manually swap out the old iteminfo for the current version on my PC and the data submits. I'm not sure how to do this on a ipad though for my field techs? I have attempted to republish the forms from a previous version of Connect, and deleted the iteminfo file from My Surveys' and then re-downloaded the form (the old iteminfo file is redownloaded instead of the new one). 2 questions: Can i manually update the iteminfo file on ipads? Is the iteminfo file stored somewhere in AGOL that would allow me to manually replace it? Thank you, Dan

That's our current work-around also. When an edit is made (no switched to yes), there is a lag between the replicated feature service and the change take about 20 seconds and multiple zooms to refresh the data. I was just trying to figure something out that would make the change immediate. Thanks again, Dan

Hi Ken, The layer about 30 different point types each with a custom symbol based on a 'feature type' field. I need these custom point symbols to be 50% transparent if they have not been review and 0% transparent if they have been reviewed. So I need to symbology to be based on two different fields - the first is the feature type' which dictates which custom symbol is used, and the second is 'reviewed' which dictates transparency level. I would like to be able to have point features show as 50 percent transparent if a field = 'no' and be displayed with no transparency if the same field = 'yes'. I haven't been able to get this to work using a custom expression using the 'When' function and assigning the value of 50 to all features when the field value = 'no'. My errors are seen when widgets (lists and graphs) are configured with dependent actions using the related table Parentglobalid field related to the feature service's globalid field. This relationship worked previously.
