Did either of you get anywhere with these issues? I'm especially interested in Weng's comment: "...plus the offline map reverts back to an older version of the database (minus all new data)." We are experiencing a similar issue. Any updates or leads would be helpful, thank you.

We were missing a permission on the Amazon side. 1) Launched the Amazon Console. 1.1) Navigated to the ArcGIS Monitor user's properties. Check to make sure the account has been assigned to a group. 2) If this account is not assigned a group then Assigned user to a read only group. 3) Relaunch ArcGIS Monitor. Here are the permissions you need: Hope this helps, Leighton

I had a similar issue to this and I found my Index was off. I tried to rebuild the index within Portal Administrator and it did not work. I followed these instruction to replace and rebuild the index from scratch: How To: Rebuild the index for Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 Hope this helps, Leighton

We have the same issue as described at the beginning of this Question but we do not have RDS or a load balancer. What else can we check? Thank you, Leighton

Kevin, Two things to look at: If the Dashboard is taking a long time to load you may need to increase your pooling (maximum time a client can use a service) look at your data in ArcMap and if any of it is falling way out of where you'd expect it (Atlantic or Pacific Oceans, etc) delete\correct that data These are probably long shots. Good luck, Leighton

Are you using Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 (or newer) as part of an ArcGIS Enterprise setup? I was experiencing the same behavior in Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 and opened a case with Esri support. They finally concluded, "I do not believe we are going to be finding an answer as to why this is happening. It seems like, from what development has told me, the category selectors ability/stability at 10.6.1 was not very good as they completed a lot of work of the action framework to make it better in 10.7 and ArcGIS Online. At this moment I do not have any further tests to complete and I am out of ideas (and development does not seem to have any either)." Esri believes it will go away if we upgrade to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7 or use ArcGIS Online's Operations Dashboard. We have not tried either suggestion. I hope this helps. Reach out to me if you would like more details on our case.

Jasmine, I was having a similar issue and noticed (through the Json out of AGOL Assistant) that my layer was not a data source in the map widget. I went into the Operations Dashboard Configure Map-Settings-Data sources and turned on the layer that was not rendering properly, screenshot below. After this it started rendering properly. Hope this helps. Thank you, Leighton

I am using the built-in Web AppBuilder. I developed an Application in the (built-in) Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS prior to the June 2016 update. I went to make a change to a widget in which I tagged, in Alias, required fields with html font tags, e.g. <b>text</b>. When I make any change to the aliases the font tags are no longer recognized in the June 2016 update. I am adding the font tags to the Edit Widget. Below is a screen shot of where I’m adding it. Below is a screenshot of the font tags working in the Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS prior to the June 2016. Does anybody know how to achieve what I’m trying to do in the latest (built-in) Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS? And maybe related to this question, why are html font tags no longer supported in the latest (built-in) Web AppBuilder release?

I’m seeing pop-up issues with scale dependent layers and their pop-ups working sporadically (mostly not working). Has anybody seen this issue of scale dependent layer’s pop-ups not working or working sporadically? I found this thread, Web AppBuilder pop up issue resolved?, but this is with Web AppBuilder Developer Edition and I’m using Web AppBuilder embedded in AGOL.

I have a point feature with attachments enabled and the attachments are behaving as expected in the 3.6 flex application. Is there a way to symbolize this feature based on the presence of attachments? For example, an orange point for a feature with an attachment(s) and no-attachment points are blue.

You have probably already tried these steps but it doesn’t hurt to list them out. I am assuming this is a Windows OS. Problematic credentials: On the machine hanging login into ArcGIS Account or Portal using the same credentials as the hanging machine (e.g. for ArcGIS online in a browser go to https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html and enter the credentials being used on the machine) If it works credentials are good; if not then this might be the problem (it could also be the firewall (or some other security device\software) the machine is behind) Check system requirements here: http://doc.arcgis.com/en/operations-dashboard/ Full uninstall: You can find the install location and look for “leftovers” after a standard uninstall or use a utility to make sure there are no leftovers (e.g. http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html) Windows Update (unlikely the problem but ops dash is a Windows App): Check to see if a windows updates installed just before the problem started then uninstall them one at a time and see if one of these updates are the problem (you can view update history in Windows Update)

Rebecca, Thank you for this thread. (It took me awhile to figure this out and I thought I would share it.) I wanted to add some observations around your Step 3h (and Hint 2) and Redirect URIs. I'm configuring Web AppBuilder Developer Edition 1.1 with Portal 10.3. The structure of the Redirect URIs is dependent on if your server is setup in either a Domain or Workgroup. To determine the setup, go to your server’s “Control Panel\System and Security\System” (or right-click your Computer and get properties in Windows File Explorer) to view basic information and note the “Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings”, if it is setup on a Domain you will see a domain, if it is setup on a Workgroup you will see a workgroup. For each configuration the Redirect URI structure should be as follows (to cover all of your bases it is probably safe to include both but I have not tested this): Workgroup: - http://<machinename> - https://<machinename> Domain: - http://<machinename>.<FullDomain> - https://<machinename>.<FullDomain>

You have probably already thought of this but you could create a separate Web Map for each group of layers. Your Web Map would then act as a group. Regards, Leighton
