Thanks for the reply Martin. That's more elegant. My problem was configuring dojo and booting the app in the same require(). Dojo didn't like the relative path when requiring the model after boot. Moved dojo config to its own require to fix problem.

I'm playing around with Accessor and trying to return a Singleton but requiring the module anytime after first require on booting the app just returns an Object. // returns Singleton
define([
'dojo/_base/declare',
'dojo/Stateful',
'dojo/Evented'
], function (
declare,
Stateful,
Evented
) {
var _instance = null;
var Model = declare([Stateful, Evented], {
// stuff
});
if (!_instance) {
_instance = new Model();
}
return _instance;
});
// returns Object
define([
'esri/core/Accessor',
'dojo/Evented'
], function (
Accessor,
Evented
) {
var _instance = null;
var Model = Accessor.createSubclass([Evented], {
// stuff
});
if (!_instance) {
_instance = new Model();
}
return _instance;
});

Does the v4 popup not select multiple features? With properties like `featureCount` and `features`, and feature pagination in popup's node, I would assume it does. However, with multiple feature layers (with overlapping polygons), it only selects features from the top most layer. And with points, when zoomed out and clicking on what should be 10s if not 100s of points, still only one feature is selected. This behavior can be tested on this api example map (Multiple popup elements | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.3 ) by zooming way out and clicking. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

In 3.18 after completing geometry edit via edit toolbar, magic mouse smart navigation goes completely haywire. Default behavior of panning with finger swipe becomes erratic combo of pan and zoom. Occurs with all tools except MOVE. No issue with touch pad or standard scroll wheel mouse. Default behavior is restored after a SHIFT + finger swipe zoom.

When importing all required css via stylus into a single file dojo build CSS optimization fails (build error 357). One: esri/themes/calcite/esri/esri.css references relative path ../images/Directions/maneuvers/esriDMTTripItem.png which does not exist at this path, but does at esri/dijit/images/Directions/maneuvers/esriDMTTripItem.png Two: esri/themes/calcite/dijit/calcite.css references relative path images/commonIconsObjActDisabled_rtl.png which should be icons/images/commonIconsObjActDisabled_rtl.png As a current work around I'm replacing via RegEx as part of prebuild tasks, but it would be appreciated if these were fixed in the next release. Thanks.

The new text symbol halos are great. I have encountered an issue when providing the symbol via the LabelClass constructor, where the halo color is always black. Halo color is correct when assigning label.symbol: label = new LabelClass({
labelExpressionInfo: {
value: '{WSC_ID}'
},
minScale: 3000,
labelPlacement: 'above-center'
});
label.symbol = jsonUtils.fromJson({
type: 'esriTS',
color: [0, 0, 255],
haloColor: [255, 255, 255],
haloSize: 1,
font: {
size: 8,
weight: 'bold',
family: 'sans-serif'
}
}); Halo color is black when symbol passed via constructor: label = new LabelClass({
labelExpressionInfo: {
value: '{WSC_ID}'
},
minScale: 3000,
labelPlacement: 'above-center',
symbol: jsonUtils.fromJson({
type: 'esriTS',
color: [0, 0, 255],
haloColor: [255, 255, 255],
haloSize: 1,
font: {
size: 8,
weight: 'bold',
family: 'sans-serif'
}
})
}); Just an heads up and thanks for this feature.

I suspect clusterLayer.hide() is not working for you because the clusterLayer variable is declared within the anonymous function called by ready(function () { var clusterLayer; // only available within this function }). A simple fix within the sample is to declare clusterLayer as a global along with map; then clusterLayer.hide() will work OR add the layer toggling logic within the aforementioned function.

Hey Chris, Actually using geometryEngineAsync. Switched to geometry service and get the same result. So something else going on here with the graphic created with result. Unfortunately I don't have access to one of the virtual desktops where the issue seems to only exist... so I'm setting up a test to get geometry json from various points in the process and see what can be found out. Will report.

geometryEngine.geodesicBuffer() is returning strange geometry in IE11. The weird thing is this only happens when deployed and used in an internal environment. In dev and testing I cannot reproduce this. It's been tested on several machines with IE11 outside the internal environment and works fine. It works fine with Chrome internally, however users are restricted to IE11. The frequency of issue is unpredictable each time the app is refreshed. Sometimes it happens every other buffer, sometimes every buffer, and sometimes every 4th or 5th buffer. It's returning geometry so obviously no errors to report. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Here are two examples:

Jonathan Uihlein This would also be handy for increasing tolerance. I implement a lot of right click menus on features and users find that it can be hard to get the menu with polylines at certain angles.

Kind of. If you turn off a layer group with say 3 of 6 layers visible and then turn it back on all layers of the group are visible.
