Comment from sample: > my entire web app is wrapped in a form I'm not sure I've ever seen that before, though I don't think form is intended to be used in that way. Is there a particular reason you are wrapping your entire app in a form?

Hi there. I'm having trouble recreating your issue in a test app, there's a bit too much missing code. Can you provide a working example of your issue using something like jsbin? Thanks very much.

We will be adding a property to control the display of specific tools in an upcoming release (4.12). In the meantime, you can use Robert's solution.

Hello! Some SketchViewModel event names were changed in 4.8 for consistency (any event with 'draw-' prefix was changed to 'create-'). This change was listed under "breaking changes" in the 4.8 release notes, but is easy to miss. If you are using 4.7, you will need to modify some of the event names from the sample (which is using 4.8), or switch to 4.8 as recommended by Miran. Thanks!

Hey Robert, sorry for the delayed response. I checked on this and it looks like this feature *was* slated for the 3.18 release but was removed at the last minute due to some issues with overriding localization defaults. Unfortunately, the doc was not updated to reflect this feature removal. This should be in the 3.19 release. Apologies and thanks.

Hi Joel! Thank you for taking the time to report these issues. Both workflows described in this thread have been fixed internally and will be available in the next release (3.18). Please don't hesitate to let us know if you discover any other issues.

Hi Richard, I've updated some code in your sample and it should work as expected: // use a url string, not a layer object reference
var qTask = new QueryTask("http://services.arcgis.com/V6ZHFr6zdgNZuVG0/arcgis/rest/services/Redlands_Emergency_Facilities/FeatureServer/0");
//...
//...
function successCallBack(result){
if (myFeatureTable && myFeatureTable.dataStore) {
// requires "dojo/_base/array"
var newData = array.map(result.features, function(feature) {
return feature.attributes;
});
myFeatureTable.dataStore.data = newData;
// The following 2 lines are a way to get the header counts to refresh as expected..
// .. FeatureTable should probably handle this internally when dataStore is updated (potential 3.17 update)
myFeatureTable.featureCount = newData.length;
myFeatureTable.clearSelection();
myFeatureTable.refresh();
}
} Let me know if you run into any issues with the above.

According to the console, your syntax is wrong. For example: <script>om/3.11/esri/css/esri.css"> </style> I recommend using tools like jshint and jslint combined with your browser's console and web-dev-tools to find these types of errors.

Hi Terry, This looks like a CSS issue. Can you recreate a bare-bones version of your application using jsfiddle so I can take a look? Thanks!

This is correct. When using templates or templated widgets, you will oftentimes need to call the parser manually.

For the most part, this only happens when the parser is called at the wrong time.

I checked on this and apparently it was a build issue. However, you shouldn't actually be using that particular file reference. The recommended path is: http://js.arcgis.com/3.11/ The only exception would be if you are using a different loader (like require.js) If using a different loader, yes you will have to set the baseURL yourself using dojoConfig object before loading dojo.js
