Setup Portal machine - Portal (using IWA) and WA 10.6.1 (WA has Windows Authentication only enabled) WFM Server machine - ArcGIS Server and WA 10.6.1 (federated with Portal but not a hosting server) (WA has both Windows and Anonymous Auth enabled) Issue We are getting an intermittent issue with a deployment where most mornings when trying to access the WFM JavaScript app (or other REST calls), the user will be unable to access the app (or complete the REST call) and will see an Invalid User error on loop. Looking into the issue, the issue is caused by the user being seen as invalid as the WFM service community/users endpoint is blank (i.e. does not list users from Portal) and returns the Access Denied error. Please note that we do have the 10.6.1 hotfix to BUG-000115160 installed. The issue can normally be resolved by a combination of restarting the WFM service or ArcGIS Server service. We cannot understand why this keeps failing each day and requires a restart of the service. Any help would be greatly appreciated. FYI Nart Tamash Workflow Manager Workflow Manager

Have you installed ArcGIS for Desktop Background Geoprocessing (64-bit) which can be downloaded from https://my.esri.com/#/downloads/ArcGIS%20for%20Desktop/10.2.2 The patches you refer to can only be installed on top of a core product. If the core product which the patch updates has not been installed you will receive an error.

Hi Martin, 1. Yes you can transfer the license if you have no maintenance. It is your license, so you may move it around as you wish (complying with the licensing T&Cs). Just follow the normal process of de-authorizing the license, and then re-authorizing. 2. If you purchased the license at 10.0, and were in maintenance up to 10.2, you will continue to have access to all versions up to 10.2 (the point at which your maintenance expired). You may therefore install 10.2 even if you no longer have maintenance.

You have probably hit the following known issue: 43971 - License Manager does not start after upgrading to ArcGIS 10.3 ArcGIS 10.3 License Manager has dependencies on the Windows Management Instrumentation and the WMI Performance Adapter. Previous versions did not have this dependency. If these services are disabled, ArcGIS 10.3 License Manager does not run.

Just as a follow up to this I raised this with the Esri design team. Data Interoperability, Workflow Manager and Data Reviewer have now been included as a separate download within the trial as a result. The downloads may be found under "Trial Downloads".

Hi Arthur, Alexey is correct, there is no difference whatsoever. A fGDB can be created with any license level.

I would suggest adding this idea to Esri Arcgis Ideas | Ideas Submission Portal. This will be reviewed directly by the Esri Developers, and the more votes it gets, the greater the chance of it being implemented.

Hi Jennifer, These basemaps can just be added to your webmap. It can then be opened in Collector and when you select to take it offline, the basemap will also be taken offline (i.e. the tiles will be downloaded - up to 100,000 tiles).
