FieldMaps can accept URL parameters that add a new feature with a particular attribute - the user just needs to finalize the location and save the point (or line or polygon).  The user also needs to be able to query other features on the map.  Survey123 would ALMOST work, except the user can't get information details for anything else on the map, so we're stuck with potentially requiring users to look at 2 maps.  A desktop-compatible FieldMaps would provide a cleaner solution for customers. ... Please update FieldMaps to include date taken/date modified.  EXIF data don't pull into ArcGIS reports - and I'm not sure how to dig that out of attachments in a MS Report Builder, either. ... View more

Please make it possible to pause cascading updates across maps/layouts - see #2 above.  It would be sooo nice to be able to change the font, then the size, then the placement, of a few different label classes for more than one feature class, THEN have all the changes executed.  This does not currently seem to be the case. ... I use ArcGIS Pro sporadically.  For something that was supposed to be better because of the 64-bit processing, it has been a huge disappointment.  For doing basic map layout work, it seems that all the performance gains from 64-bit and the requirement to have an external graphics card were wasted on trying to make ArcGIS Pro more friendly for novices.  I agree with other posts about the frustration of basic things like trying to rename a map or feature class.  I realized that Pro is magically updating the pointers to a renamed feature class on every layout and map in a project - but I don't actually want it to do that!!  I'm usually renaming the feature class so I can make a new version of it (while maintaining a backup), and I want everything in the project to point to that new feature class with the original name - and I want the renaming of a feature class to be done in a blink of an eye rather than over 10 seconds.  On the other hand, my arcpy scripts run beautifully - it just isn't easy to figure out how far to nudge the legend or how to adjust labels without seeing it.  ... I am on 2.7.  Needed a nice hollow circle symbol.  Had to install a bunch of styles from 10.6; forgot to save before ArcGIS Pro crashed so had to reinstall the styles.  Finally gave up and searched for my preferred symbol style in ArcMap, and now I can search for that particular style and have some chance of getting a map done in less than 10 hours that would've taken about 2 in ArcMap. ... No solution; @AlyDoesGIS confirmed it is a bug and it does not seem to have been resolved as of the latest update.  Hoping @BillMoody and others will try to get it prioritized.  There's a workaround of using the tool instead of trying to use Python, but that's not to my satisfaction. ... View more
