The AppStudio Framework, or AppFramework, contains platform-neutral QML components to allow you to create apps that work across multiple platforms. The components that the AppFramework provides are intended for use in providing base functionality for your app, including managing file paths, networking interfaces, and image manipulation, as well as tools specific to working within the AppStudio environment. The AppFramework library is unique in that it has features and capabilities that are neither natively provided by the underlying Qt framework nor the ArcGIS Runtime but are necessary and commonly used for developing apps. We are excited to share new features and enhancements added to AppStudio 5.2 release with you in this blog post. Enhancement in AppFramework: - AppFramework DeepLearning Plugin introduced as a beta feature in AppStudio 5.2 - New restart method in the AppFramework component allows an app to be restarted automatically. - New UUID methods in the AppFramework component provide more functionality for working with UUID and GUIDs. - New contains method in the SecureStorage component to check whether a key is present in secure storage. - The ImageObject component now supports loading of images from a hosted source using an HTTP or HTTPS URL, allowing apps to download images and store them locally. - The ImageObject component now has an autoTransform property to ensure JPEG images automatically apply image transformation metadata such as orientation. - Receive Android NMEA messages with Multiple NmeaSource Components. - Ability to save and edit image attributes in JPEG images. - Apps can now interface with the Windows 10 sharing API. - On Android, the Positioning plug-in has been improved to provide more information about the location. - Updated OpenSSL to latest version (1.1.1l). @sakilesa I don't think you need the credentials from Qt, the credentials you need are to login to ArcGIS Online or Enterprise depending on where you create the Survey123 Form. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/extending-survey123-part-1-white-labeling/ba-p/891537 Thank you, Erwin

@Anonymous User You can share the app publicly, and the users will be able to search your app in AppStudio Player without sign-in. Or you can use custom profile or deep linking workflow in AppStudio Player, https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-appstudio-blog/introducing-appstudio-player-custom-profile/ba-p/896422 Thank you, Erwin

@JoshBillings We currently don't have a plan to support the "new" Story Maps. My recommendation is to create an idea in the Ideas site or an official enhancment from Esri Technical Support. Thank you, Erwin

@MKa If you are using Local Make, this issue with iOS 15 is because the build machine is running Catalina. You need to upgrade it to Big Sur and rebuild the IPA. The fix that we did in AppStudio 5.1 was tested using Qt 5.15 and XCode 12. Thank you, Erwin

@MKa Can you check what version of the AppStudio Player is installed in your simulator? The white screen issue is normally a sign of QML code-related issue, which could be due to running in an older version of AppStudio Player. It is probably best to update the AppStudio to the latest version. Thank you, Erwin.

@MKa Did you use the Enterprise Certificate to sign the iOS app? If yes, this is related to this issue that has been fixed and patched today, https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-appstudio-questions/apps-not-working-on-ios-15/m-p/1102980#M4083 You can try building the app again. Although you are using AppStudio 4.4 Desktop, but you are using AppStudio Cloud Make production which is in version 5.1 at the moment. Let me know if this is working for you. Thank you, Erwin.

@MichaelBell Yes, it is possible with AppStudio as @GISJot mentioned above. I also want to point out that AppStudio MapViewer template supports the offline workflow you mentioned, you just need to set up the Webmap with pre-planned offline map areas from ArcGIS Online. Then, you would be able to download those pre-planned offline map areas in MapViewer template. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-appstudio-questions/can-a-user-define-an-offline-map-area-within-app/td-p/794426 Thank you, Erwin

@KonstantinNagornyuk1 You can edit a public feature layer, but you must be signed in to do the edit. With the integration between two apps using URL schemes, you need to build both Map Viewer and Quick Report app using URL Scheme set in the Settings page. Also before that you need to make the customization in both templates to include the URL Scheme of each other in for example in a click of a button to open the other apps. This workflow can only work with built apps that are installed in your device. How did you set up these two apps? And how are they not working? Thank you, Erwin

@BillyGregory1 This sounds like a good idea. My recommendation would be to do custom QuickCapture, the source code of QuickCapture app is available in AppStudio Desktop under Enterprise templates. I would imagine, you would be adding mapping page in QuickCapture, the mapping page could be native map page using ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Qt, or just a webview that reference the URL of the mapping webpages. Thank you, Erwin
