Thank you for these details and use cases >Having the phone decide where they're going to stop means that we have more consistent and reliable data What sort of devices are you using? Unless you are using high accuracy GPS to record and also to navigate to existing points, then there will be a level of error introduced. A phone by itself is only accurate about 2 meters at best

Hello, the current Profile is also shown in the Location Details (tap on the accuracy banner) of any map. I understand this is not on the actual map display but it is available within any map and a good way to double check your configuration and current location fix details. Depending on the coordinate systems of you data/map and the coordinate system of your Profile, there are also instances where Field Maps will show a warning when the map is opened if the configuration is incompatible, it sounds like in your instance this was not the case. There is currently no way to add this information to the map display or your feature attributes.

Try using the "in-app camera" which is a setting that can be found under Collection Settings in Field Maps. This prevents the transition to the Camera app which was introducing issues on memory constrained devices. Instead, the device will use a version of the camera built into Field Maps. Hopefully this helps!

@GeoguichetGeoguichet Thank you, that is helpful context about your workflow! Good news is that Leica and the Zeno app is one of which we are actively working and testing with for potential WebSocket support in Field Maps. Stay tuned!

Thanks @Timothy_Marsh @JDLP . What type of field is used for the unique value symbols? I had tried this out with my own data and do not reproduce a crash. If possible, you can also share the map to a Group in ArcGIS Online and invite the user arcgisfieldmaps. I can then test directly with the same data.

I wanted to provide an update in this thread for everyone. The numerical popup added with iOS 26 will be reverted in the next Field Maps update (26.1.2) until the team can find a way to better handle how/where it appears while entering attributes. For now, the full keyboard will display again regardless of field type.

@AlfredBaldenweck Can you tell us more about your workflow and how you would use streaming of point features? What do you mean by "test pit"? There is a tool in Pro that you could run to convert the vertices from a line into point features: Feature Vertices To Points (Data Management toolbox)

Hi @GeoguichetGeoguichet can you tell us more about your workflow and setup? ie what antenna are you using, geode, coordinate system, etc? We are currently working on WebSocket support with a handful of vendors. Eventually, we will want to roll this out as the standard over direct bluetooth connection. Hopefully this will help smooth out some of the workflows when operating in both the GPS vendors app and Field Maps. When it comes to orthometric height support in Field Maps, we still want to accomplish this but do not currently have a timeline.

Thanks - some scenarios to try outside of the different devices: - Different data in the same map - Same data in a new map - Separate (new) data and map If you dont reproduce with a different data/layer in the same map, then it might be a problem with the layer configuration. If you dont reproduce with the same layer in a different map then it might be something in the map configuration. Let us know what you find!

@JDLP Its helpful to know this doesnt occur on iOS. If you have another android device of a differn't model it would be good to know if the crash happens there as well. Can you also confirm what version of Field Maps you have installed? To @DanielFox1 s point, what type of attributes exist in the feature that is being copied and does the crash happen with other features or layers?

@fjramos wrote: My initial idea of using our web service URL as a base map was to keep everything consistent to our local datum. It worked great up until now that I noticed this change. This would be the best practice when working with high accuracy, its just unfortunate you were running into this issue. Have you tried again with your original map in your original coordinate system? I happened to see there were some patches that went out on AGOL recently that could possible impact this.

There is not currently a method for doing this. Is this a common workflow for you (updating existing related records)?

Odd, did you make any changes to the map? I also tried this out with a Trimble R1 and the expressions are working correctly. I also see the expected formatting in Map Viewer.
