Hi @Katie_Macintyre_Atmos , are you still seeing issues creating offline areas? We have seen improvements since early this morning. If you still have issues, please reach out to support as George suggested.

The in-app camera was added recently and the benefit is that you do not need to leave the app to take a photo in another app (the default OS camera app); it may not be obvious but this is what happens when you go to take a photo attachment. There can be instances where the OS can kill an app (Field Maps) when it enters the background depending on memory usage and availability and using the in-app camera would avoid these situations. The in-app camera may not have some of the tools that the devices default camera may have so that is a potential drawback if those are needed. If you notice that Field Maps seems to reset after you take a photo or that you are missing data afterwards it could be the scenario I described above and using the in-app camera would help. If you are still having issues, i'm curious what happens when you open the feature popup again after submitting, assuming you dont see the thumbnail after initially submitting the feature. Its good to re-open the popup to verify if the attachment was actually added or not.

Hi @ChristopherGillett , Thank you for reaching out and showing interest in this capability in Field maps. This has been in flight so some time and we appreciate everyone's patience. We have been actively working on enhancing the to-do list functionality as a whole as we bring this capability into Field Maps, including adding the unassigned feature, enabling custom fields and form logic, facilitating custom status options, and simplifying the overall model for easier integration patterns. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience within Field Maps while addressing the most requested features. We are excited to share that we have a private tech preview available for these new capabilities. If you are interested in gaining access to the tech preview, please email us at arcgisfieldmaps@esri.com, and our team will provide you with further details on how to get started. The current ETA for when this will be released with Field Maps is aligned with the Feb 2025 release of ArcGIS Online. Let me know if you have any further questions.

@OliverIshmael Thanks for the reply. Have you been able to narrow it down to the attaching of photos? Are these photos being taken from within the app or attached from storage? If its only happening for new photos can you try attaching from storage as a workaround?

Hi @OswaldOnimhawo , are you still having issues submitting edits? What platform/device are you using Field Maps on? Are you able to successfully edit the same features in ArcGIS Pro or within the web map in ArcGIS Online? >5. Tested with a new simple feature layer; issue persists. Can you clarify a bit more about point 5? Is this simple feature layer coming from the same source data or something else?

Im glad that its working after signing in again. It sounds like you were previously signed in but the app had been idle for about two weeks, can you confirm this? It can be helpful to diagnose what might have went wrong. Your token should be valid for 90 days. I can also take back your UI feedback to the team. There should be a message displayed when we detect that there is no connectivity to the portal but that message may not be persistent or not showing for you for some reason. Ideally it would be clearer in any cases where a connection cannot be established. In most cases swiping down on the map list should attempt to reconnect to your portal and reload your maps and swiping away and reopening the app should fully re-load the portal and user so im surprised that didnt work for you. Signing in again should be a last resort.

Hi @ZacharyUhlmann1 , is your account on ArcGIS Online or Enterprise? A few of things you can try, assuming you have data/wifi connectivity on this device. First, try swiping down on the Maps list to reload it. If this does not work, swipe away the app to force close it and then relaunch it; this should attempt to re-connect to the portal. As a last resort, you can try signing out and then back in again. The app is restricted to only locally available maps when no connection to the portal is available. If you have verified you have connectivity one of the steps above should get your maps back and if not we can help dig further.

Hello, there is an in-app camera setting now in the Android version of Field Maps. If you are having issues capturing photos in Field Maps using the default OS camera it is worth a shot trying this out. Its found under the Collection Settings in the Profile in the app. Did you notice if the app itself was resetting after adding a new photo? Are you losing any edits that are in progress when adding a photo?

Hi @AndrewBraun , you dont seem to be running into an accuracy constraint but rather the position coming from the GPS is stale. If you were falling outside of the required accuracy the message would be slightly different. If you tap to open the GPS details there is a row right at the top that shows when the GPS was last updated ie "Updated just now". What does this say for you when you receive this message? Is you location dot on the map blue or grey?

Any transformation will introduce a margin of error, there is no getting around that and it does not mean you have done something wrong. The coordinates in the header are not coming from the iPads internal GPS as there would be a much larger difference in the coordinates than what is in your screenshot. They are coming from your Trimble receiver, but are being projected onto your map which uses the transformation defined in the Location Profile, and the resulting location is stored in the feature Geometry and shown in the popup header. The value in the gnss metadata are the raw geographic location (unprojected). Does that help explain it better?

Hi @MarieDawes , the coordinates in the GPS metadata (Lat, long fields in your screenshot) are raw values from the receiver and as you note these match what is shown on your GPS receiver or receiver app. The values in the popup header come from the features geometry which could be slightly different depending on the basemap being used, Location Profile set up and the transformation(s) used. I hope this helps!

Did you try switching the Location Provider to Integrated and then back to the R1? You can also try removing the R1 as a provider and re-adding it. This should reestablish the connection with the Trimble app. It sounds like Field Maps is not receiving updated locations for some reason. If you tap the GPS details, does it show when the last location you received was? It will either say "Updated now" or tell you when the last location was received.

A couple of things to clarify: > there is one Tracks layer for all field accounts (4 separate field accounts feed into one singular tracks layer - not ideal, but the way our org works.. Track Views can be created with the Track Viewer app. You can create individual Views for each user or group them as you please. It wasnt clear if you were aware of this. >The blue lines you see weaving above are the original "Track Lines" that come directly from the Tracker layers. The "Track Lines" layer is generated server side after the track points are uploaded. The track "lines" you see in the Field Maps app, which appear in the Layers tool as the My tracks layer, are not necessarily the same lines you may see in the Track Lines layer on when reviewing in a Web Map after upload. This is part of the reason I was asking how the lines appeared on the mobile device for the My tracks layer. By this time those original points are likely gone from the device. However, if you did see the lines drawing like this in the Field Maps app as a part of the My tracks layer it may indicate an issue with the GPS signal but that also seems unlikely based on your screenshot. Have you stepped through the original track points, while observing the timestamps? Do they seem to follow along the path in the correct order?

Hi @EGallant15 , What do the tracks look like on the device, if they have not been cleared already? And what device was used to capture them? Just for clarification, are all of these tracks coming from the same user and same device?
