Thanks for the help, Laura. In the end I just wrote a custom expression to render the date in the desired format in the app popup. That'll do for now.

That's a really good question, Laura. My screenshot above is indeed form Classic. Turns out that the field configuration in (the newer) Map Viewer is what ExB pays attention to.

Good morning, I've got a web map with the popups set to display date as day/month/year, but the app I've built in Experience Builder using that web map shows popups in month/day/year. I tried changing the global date format setting in Portal to British, but this didn't change the Experience Builder formatting. Anyone have thoughts/advice? Ideally I'd be able to display the dates as year/month/day, as they're formatted in the referenced SQL Server data, but that's not even an option in the web map settings... Ben

Huh, looks like increasing Page Size did the trick. I'm going to continue to mess around with this but going from the default 100 up to 1,000 now correlates with all of my unique values showing up in the filter widget.

Hi all, I've got a simple filter applied to unique field values that's working fine in my web map, but once I attempt to to the same via filter widget in Experience Builder only a few of the candidate values are appearing in the dropdown. See the two attached images for what I'm *ahem* experiencing. Currently running Enterprise 10.9.1. Is this some kind of bug? Thanks, Ben

I like this improvisation, Steve, and I might try to go this route as well. As of right now I'm dealing with 39 different values, so it won't work for now, but we're looking at possibly bifurcating or trifurcating those 39 into super-groups that'll indeed be color coded. Your workaround might work there very well.

Good afternoon all, I'm working with clustered points in a web map published to Enterprise 10.9.1 and am trying to figure out a way to add corresponding legend symbols to feature popups. Haven't had much luck so far. Has anyone else tackled this? Thanks, Ben

Really weird that you can't get to Server Manager but the other two pages are reachable. Are all three URLs using the same domain/subdomain and web adaptor name?

Just discovered this limitation myself. All the more disappointing as I'm trying ExB to get around bug 000164611 which is preventing filtering by date in an existing WAB product that has to have the custom filtering option. Please implement, ESRI.

Yeah, looking at the source URLs in Pro can be an easy way to determine which service is hosted where. Attached are screenshots of an old service I have hosted in ArcGIS Online vs. a newer one hosted in our Enterprise deployment. Note the differences in URLs. Edit: Of course you don't have to be in the Source tab in the ArcGIS Pro table of contents to see this information, but if I'm trying to figure out where something is coming from it can sometimes provide useful information. Irrelevant here though.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance, Gregory. Option number one above worked like a charm! Two field mappers to effectively truncate the field names of the two otherwise immutable Geotab definitions upstream of the Event Joiner behaved exactly as I expected it to. Working beautifully now. 🙂 Edit: Oops! In case anyone else comes across this post I also wanted to mention that I added a third Field Mapper after the Event Joiner in order to reestablish the Track ID and Geometry fields. As Gregory points out above, those tags are scrubbed by the Event Joiner processor and using the third Field Mapper allowed me to create a final definition with the proper tags in place. If you don't do this you'll still get what looks like good tabular data, but the geometry won't actually update.

Okay, folks, I've been pulling my hair out over this one all afternoon: Our GeoEvent deployment receives data from our Geotab AVL system, which comes along with a handful of its own definitions that can't be edited and I need information from two of them to be fed through to a feature service hosted in our Portal. "No big deal!", I think, as I know there's an Event Joiner processor that I can use to combine the two definitions. That works great, except for when I go to publish the necessary Update Feature output. I'm able to publish the feature service just fine, but where I run into trouble is when I go to assign the Unique Feature Identifier Field via dropdown in the output configuration page the available fields all have their names truncated. Not only does this make it extremely difficult for me to choose what I think is the correct field, but GeoEvent doesn't recognize them either, and I get error log entries about how the field I've chosen as the unique identifier can't be found. This is the show stopper. I've also tried adding in a Field Mapper processor after the Event Joiner processor in order to write to a definition that has shorter field names that don't get lobbed off in the output configuration window, but then I get error messages about the Track ID getting dropped and nothing but null values past the Field Mapper (but with good data going into it). I'm stumped. Anyone have any insight? I've added a few images showing what's going on.

I've been wondering about doing something similar with PowerAutomate, and I believe that there's a geocode processor that has to be used to actual render the spatial data as a feature. Wonder if this is the case for SharePoint stuff too... https://doc.arcgis.com/en/microsoft-365/latest/power-automate/get-started-with-arcgis-connectors-for-power-automate.htm
