Blake, I was able to run this successfully via command prompt, so thank you. I am a but of a python noob but am trying to implement a process for downloading Feature Layers from a viewer using JSON->Feature. When I try running the above code in ArcMap Python window I get: Runtime error Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 51, in <module> File "<string>", line 47, in main UnboundLocalError: local variable 'svc_lyr_response' referenced before assignment I get prompted for username/password via CMD but seems like that's where it bombs in ArcMap. Any help/Suggestions would be awesome, Thanks!

Hi, Python Noob. All I would like is for our users to be able to Download a layer(s) from a Map Service in .shp/,gdb output. I'm not digging the Extract Toolset, mainly because users "might" get inaccurate data via Clip. I would rather use a 'Select' but am not having a bunch of luck. I tried the above code but am getting errors, see below. Any help is Grate-ly appreciated. Thanks! Runtime error Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 33, in <module> File "c:\program files (x86)\arcgis\desktop10.5\arcpy\arcpy\arcobjects\arcobjects.py", line 175, in load return convertArcObjectToPythonObject(self._arc_object.Load(*gp_fixargs(args))) RuntimeError: RecordSetObject: Cannot open table for Load

Any luck with SSO in Collector? I was told by ESRI that SSO is not supported in Collector App. I have a federated Portal setup, SSO, IWA, AD on IIS. Was curious if anyone got this to work, otherwise Collector is useless in our environment, what a shame. Thanks, Jason

Did you ever find a solution for #2? The issue we are having is Collector App does not support Single Sign On with Smart Card, have you had any success? We do not have the option for Sign In via Username/Password and are using IWA with AD. Thanks, Jason

Hi Robert, Does the share widget retain added map services and layers that have been turned on/off? I would like the ability to design a Map and share it without paying ESRI 500.00 for a level 2 license. Much Appreciated, Jason

Thought I'd share that there is a bug with 10.3 and starting Map Services referencing SDE data in an Oracle database. ESRI Support was awesome on this incident. Basically, at ArcGIS Server 10.3, there is a schema cache that is created when a service with SDE data is started. When your SDE geodatabase contains large amounts of data, the process of producing the schema cache takes longer and times out. I had to change my service start-up timeout. Starting 1 service with 1 feature class took 8 minutes. While you can stagger recycling, my concern would be from a reboot, which could cause a serious spike in CPU for an extended period of time, in some instances maybe locking the server. BUG-000087594 - Service start up times increase the more feature classes exist in an Oracle database and the service is serving data from the Oracle database in ArcGIS Server 10.3.

Ahmad, Thanks for the link. The issue is solely related to publishing a service with a registered SDE Oracle 11g database. I did notice that the directories and files are created under arcgisinput and then get removed when the error occurs. I have 4 CPU and am running 7 SOC processes. I was able to publish the same data with the database being unregistered and data was copied to the server. I have done the same workflow using 10.2.2 and do not see the issue at all.

Hello Everyone. I am having a major issue with ArcGIS Server 10.3, even after installing the timeout pack. When I try to publish a Map Service containing SDE Data (data store configured, database authentication, Oracle 11gR2), directly from ArcGIS Desktop 10.3 via MXD or uploading a .SD, I receive these errors: Error Log: type="severe" code="8274" Service startup timeout Geoprocessing Result: Error 001369 (see attached) I have no issues publishing a Map Service using data from a file geodatabase (configured in datastore, option to copy data to sever unchecked). I have verified the SOC user has permissions to SDE Feature Classes. As a troubleshooting measure, I installed ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 (data store configured, database authentication, Oracle 11gR2) and was able to publish with no issue using the same configurations. I am running: Windows Server 2008 R2 Sp1 vMware 5.5.0 All System Requirements are met. Thanks, Jason

I ran into this issue before with 10.2 and again with 10.2.2. For me I had to change the Authentication Settings in IIS to use 'Windows Authentication'. Worked like a charm.

Jason, Have you tried changing the IdentifyWidget.xml's identifylayeroption to all instead of visible which is the default? Robert, Could you provide an example of how you are changing this please. Is it only in one place? Our Flex Developer has made this change and still no results. We are also using 443 (https).

Tod, I seem to be missing what you are wanting here... Well what you are saying here has nothing to do with what esri is telling you about visible layers. If you set the identifylayeroption to all than you should get just that all layers regardless. Robert, We are trying to do an identify on layers that are not turned on in the .MXD that is fueling the AGS Map Service. For Example: We might have a group layer called 'Fauna' and this group player contains 12 layers but only 2 of those layers are turned on in the .MXD/Map Service. We do not want to over populate the Flex Viewer when this service is added, so we only display some larger boundaries. However, we would like our users to be able to turn on a layer and identify the attributes. The widget works good for layers that are turned on by 'Default' but not for invisible or turned off layers.

Does anyone know how to configure the "Add to ArcMap" functionality within the results window? I know that the button is looking for a local copy of ArcMap, I'd like to tell it to use a Citrix connection to ArcMap.
