did you just do once(now()) for the calculation and it was fine? or did you set the parameters field to manual also? I saw your previous response to a similar post.

Using survey123 connect I have created form containing repeats which contain a time field. If I cycle through the repeats once filled out, the time field for all the repeats change to the most recent entry. I've tried using the once( function and changing the bind parameters to manual calculation and this works fine before publishing the survey on desktop, but the error perists on the field app and post submission. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I am recording a number of observations within a repeat. I can then create a summary of the results using the join calculation for most fields, but I can't create a list of times from the time field. How would I go about joining them to a new field? I have attached a screenshot which will hopefully be clearer. Thanks.

Brilliant, I'm starting to understand Arcade a bit. Your snippet works perfectly, really helpful.

Hi, I am trying to transfer some code I use in python to arcade in order to take advantage of the attribute rule calculation. I currently have some python that calculates the average of an array but discounts null values if it finds them in the array. I'm looking to use arcade to count how many nulls or non-nulls there are... the Count function or the isEmpty function don't seem suited. The last best code which isn't working (so best isn't great!) is: var array = [$feature.Welcoming,$feature.Access]; var count = [i for i in array if i]; 'Sum(array) / float(count)' Any help would be great thanks!

Hello, I'm hoping to create a python API script that will spatially join one of our online feature services to another on a daily schedule - using the 'closest' geometry to add a field to one of the layers from the other. Is this possible with an ArcGIS Online account (not portal or enterprise)? I can't seem to find any documentation that will achieve this! Thanks in advance, Luke

Hi Jim, Thanks for your help, it turned out to be that I had put my username is all lower-case... I didn't realise it was case-sensitive! Quite simple fail, but glad to have the script working now. Thanks again, Luke

Hi Jim, Thanks for the reply, unfortunately it's yes to both of those - I've tried it with many different item IDs too just to be sure it wasn't a specific survey but I get that error regardless. Very frustrating as this tool looks ideal! Is this a documented problem? Many thanks, Luke

We have a number of Survey123 forms and I'm looking at the best way to back them up/download them. I have experimented with Microsoft Flow webhooks and this looks like one good method to hold a backup, albeit quite fiddly with the initial set up (where there are a lot of fields in a survey). I'm particularly looking to script the download of all of the surveys and hold timestamped geodatabase backups. I have found the following script at the end of this url which looks fit for purpose: View your results—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation However, whenever I try to run this script I get the following error: ...Starting ...Authenticating against your Portal ...Exporting data Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\DownloadSurvey123Data.py", line 78, in <module> exportItemId = export_data['exportItemId'] KeyError: 'exportItemId' No matter what itemid I use, I get the same error so I know that this isn't related to one particular feature class. Any help with this would be massively appreciated! I'm drawing a blank trying to get it to run. Thanks in advance!

Hi Mattias, That's odd, it doesn't work on any of our computers running 2.2... I was running api version 1.4.1, i upgraded it to 1.4.2 today and it still creates the same error. It's very frustrating error and all the more if the script is working fine on your 2.2! Luke

Hi Mattias, I'm not sure if can help but since the update to ArcGIS Pro 2.2 and the latest Python 3, your method is now broken for me... the line: sdf = ethosequip.layers[0].query().df produces: ValueError: Invalid geometry type for method The method still works on a pc that I haven't updated to the latest python... bit concerning that a minor python update seems to have broken it. I have been trying to figure out why but am drawing a blank. Any help would be great. I am also trying to use the export function but having no joy (arcgis.gis module — arcgis 1.4.2 documentation ) Thanks, Luke

Hi, I'm currently using the ArcREST API to download a feature class stored online as a CSV but I know that this is deprecated and the Python API is supposed to replace it. Can anyone offer any solutions for how to use the new API to download the attributes of a feature class in CSV format? I have attempted this (How To: Create and download a file geodatabase replica from a hosted feature service using Python ) but it doesn't seem to work and also it seems to only offer gdb as the output whereas I need CSV. Hope someone can help! Thanks
