Yeah that's crazy. I normally am clearing browser cache several times a day for 'all time' with everything being cleared, form entries, etc. I did that again, and then went into the device's Settings > Apps >Chrome and cleared the Cache from the 'Storage & Cache' area. I then went into incognito mode, copied in a link, performed a search, and the behavior is not present. So that's good. But, after repeating those steps again, I opened a link back into 'regular' tab mode and the behavior re-appears. So not so good . . . but I do now have something to tell mobile users on Android. Hopefully it's one of those things that disappears with the next Chrome update on Android.

Yes thanks for getting back on this @KellyHutchins - I thought that might be the case as I've been following the other threads on this app, for both portal and online. I tried both 'classic' and default for the panel - the behavior remains. I did just do an install of Firefox on the Pixel and I do not see the behavior. I tired Edge on the device and the issue exists, same as Chrome... since both of those are 'Chromium' maybe that is related. Here is a link to an app where I do not encounter the issue - a ''half section locator' designed to help the survey community find 'half-section survey sheets by entering a parcel id and return info based on the 'half section' layer in the map by Arcade Intersect. If you begin to enter one of our parcel ids 2027070041 you can see. https://sarco.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/sidebar/index.html?appid=d55aec4f12fa4b4187065af4e43568ad Then I have Solid waste pickup day app that basically does the same thing - returns your solid waste pickup day based on a Solid Waste Zone layer in the map. Both apps work just fine when interacting with map taps. It just seems to be related to the search interaction, when returning the info by search. Hello - For the Sidebar Instant App, I discovered that any new sidebar apps created since the February update have a display issue on the Android 14 OS, In my case a Pixel 8 Pro with the April 5, 2024 security update. When interacting with the search>map layer>popup, the return 'cuts' the display in half on the device: When just interacting with the Map only> tap: Sidebar apps built before the February update have no issue with either map tap>popup or search>map layer>popup: There is not issue with the iOS at 14 or 15 @KellyHutchins Thanks - David

I noticed today a new patch for Portal at 11.2, the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2024 Update 1 Patch but I can't seem to find any info on it. We're experiencing some issues with content like Map Viewer symbol categories being not available and our 11.2 Instant Apps Gallery will not load any instant apps. Maybe this will help?

Hello @JShi_EsriStaff - have you following or have seen this post: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/11-2-upgrade-instant-apps-config-won-t-come-up/m-p/1405521#M39154 I ask simply because we have a failure somewhere in our upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2, and apparently not everything installed because I can't even launch the InstantGallery page. . . the TS can't find other js and node modules... Thanks for the feedback @RRC_GISServices - interesting. For me, this setting is already set to Enabled: true. However, when I try to set externalcontent>update Enabled: false, a 500 error is returned. So I don't know if it that is something or not. And thank you for the info on the sidebar - as I'm sure you'd agree, it is difficult to track every thing we users report . . .

Well, for me the arcgis monitor 2023 logs don't show anything like that. These are new Window Server 2022 VMs with plenty of bandwidth, plenty of disc space, plenty of I/O. There was a small network and storage write blips at install time but that is all. I mean, other than the Instant Apps Gallery and any Instant app config page, the portal is running great. Server is running great, sans the known webhook launch error, and no issues with data store. But for us, we are migrating our internal clients from WAB Dev edition to instant apps so this could not have happened at a worse time, sadly.

Yeah, the TypeScript is looking for resources that are not there, or did not install in a correct location perhaps. Although I am just getting started with esri support, it appears there are missing js files, nodemodules maybe more in at least 2 locations, instantgallery and sidebar. When I try to config an existing app, the config template here https://..../portal/apps/configure-template/app/ui/main/ConfigPanel/ConfigPanelViewModel.js which is here: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\apps\configure-template\app\ui\main\ConfigPanel\ConfigPanelViewModel.js can't find other ts, js, and calcite The install appeared clean and the Event Log only reports some setupmsi application hangs, which I could see anyway when the setup wizard would become unresponsive at the beginning of my install. There are no Carbon Black events, there are some Software Protection Program (SPP) 'start' events. But I'm totally grasping at straws. It was a bad install, don't know why

If you look at my earlier reply with the dev console image, you will see that the Chrome console error says it can't find the Instant App Data from here: webpack://instant-app-landing/src/app/data/AppTypeInfo/AppTypeInfoViewModel.ts I have tried in Edge, both in-private and standard, and in Chrome both incognito and standard. I've got a case in with esri, but yes there are lots of 404s, mostly with Calcite components: ..../apps/instant/node_modules/@esri/calcite-components/dist/calcite/p-f4be18ed.js

Here is something I found for a related Online version of something similar that @KellyHutchins noted Instant App configure page will not open - Esri Community but not quite. It's not the Instant App page won't open, its that Portal 11.2 can't find the Instant App data per my Console log screen grab I posted above. Anyone?

In an earlier upgrade, I had added the following to the D:\arcgisportal\db\pg_hba.conf file: *Added a config setting to D:\arcgisportal\db\pg_hba.conf file: # TYPE DATABASE USER ADDRESS METHOD host all all ::1/128 scram-sha-256 I did not add this param to the pg_hba file when going from 11.1 to 11.2 Could that be it?
