not from me, the last feedback I received was from @TonghuiMing last month. It's not something that is fixing itself on its own, apparently.

If your users will not own any items and only need the ability to edit registered or hosted feature layers that have been shared with them then you can move those user types from Creator to Mobile.

Interesting side note on this - our hosted server site is a 2-machine cluster. whenever we have to restart the machines (after Windows updates, etc) the logging error re-appears until I go into server admin and re-enable / re-disable the services directory. Once I do that, the SEVERE log entries cease.

Good day - The repeating SEVERE-level log entries reporting a source errror: Logged At Component Id Code Level 10/24/25, 2:00:48.165 PM 624 9,000 severe .......... Source Message Hosted/Street.FeatureServer Hosted/Street/FeatureServer: null Has been resolved. I do not know why, but once I re-enabled the services directory on our Hosting site, the log entries ceased. After a 15 minute wait, I re-disabled the services director on the Hosting site, and the log entries reporting a null source error have remained absent. So for us, the action re-enable re-disable the services directory solved this issue.

So it turns out that the access prompt is a new feature in Chrome: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/local-network-access Because our Online webmaps that populate our instant apps and experiences are consuming layers from our Hosted Enterprise Site by-reference collaboration, the calls to the layers in said webmaps are causing Chrome to throw up the Access Prompt that I show in my earlier screen grab. If the on-network user clicks 'no', the apps still work but throw CORS errors in the console. If the on-network user clicks 'Allow', no errors.... Who knew? Not great but what can you do? @ZachBodenner

Yeah I mean we're only working in the Online builder so we're obviously not compiling from the dev edition and hosting on our web server. If I hear anything I'll post back as well. But I'm seeing all kinds of problems all over the community spaces since the October update and the Living Atlas 2025.2 content update for Enterprise. Last time I saw anything like this was with 11.3 Enterprise not updating properly - that turned out to be a culture / local issue - e.g. 'en-US'

Hi @ZachBodenner -At times, opening an ExB app in Edit mode in the Online ExB Editor I will receive the prompt that I need to enter my credentials for our Enterprise Portal. I enter them and then I'm fine. All of the layers we use are collaborated over from Enterprise by reference but all are shared 'with everyone' on both sides. Nevertheless, I'll still receive the prompt from time to time. After the Online update, we started to receive non stop source error reads in our Server logs for 'null' reads: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/request-error-percent-alerts-by-the-thousands/td-p/1660624 Recently, in the last week or so we now get this little prompt from Chrome while opening an Experience on our Network: Fortunatly I'm not seeing this prompt off-network, i.e when I open one of my ExB's on my phone.... I've got a case with support but who knows. We've been grasping at straws.

Hi @TonghuiMing - would it be possible for you to share more of what you are seeing in the console log, for which app or service, and where you are locating it this descrpancy in the console? The only vector-tile service I have listed from my host site that could possibly match the url stub I see in your screen shot is this: https://ags3.scgov.net/server/rest/services/Hosted/SarasotaCountyBase/VectorTileServer And this service does not show 0,0 for a minScale, maxScale Thanks

@Ke_Xu , @TonghuiMing - Good morning. After much examination and troubleshooting, this issue appears related to the Living Atlas content update and the ArcGIS Online update. That is, I examined one of my Enterprise 11.5 portal hosted experiences and they too show this same basemap issue. I upgraded the Living Atlas content to 2025.2 for our Enterprise on 10/21 and it now appears that any basemap where I am mashing custom vector tiles with Living Atlas reference layers, and that custom basemap is used as the webmaps' default basemap, will create the 'duplicate' map in the basemap tool. @MattiasEkström

Ok so this whole thing turns out to be a false positive. That is to say, the 'true curve' warning has nothing to do with being able / not being able to create this feature in Field Maps. Instead, this is all about the contingent value class and setting a 'require' on the edit form: This is for Field Maps only, for the web map edit edit widget or an edit widget in an app it is - once again - much more forgiving: You can't set a 'require' for the form element for the contingent value attribute that defines your edit template. You then also cannot set a 'require' on the 'dependent' contingent value attribute if <NULL> and <ANY> are allowed as a contingent value pair in your contingent value class. Doing so throws an 'unsupported form element' error in Field Maps. Once <NULL> and <ANY> are removed from the class, a 'require' can be set on the dependent attribute form element. This threw me off because Pro complains if you do not have NULL and ANY - but only until you open the attribute pane and add the dependent value. I consider this now solved and will mark it as so if no one else does.

Hello - I have a point layer with contingent values that Field Maps Designer in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 thinks has true curves. When I look at the layer in the 'Offline' settings in Designer, it shows that this layer has true curves: I've never seen this before ever, How is that possible for a point layer? Needless to say, the layer cannot be edited in Field Maps. It edits in Map Viewer and it edits in a Sidebar with the Edit widget

Agree with @RyanUthoff - when publishing a Map Image layer when the source is file gdb and trying to enable Feature Access is not supported. If you want feature access from a file gdb you have to publish the layer as a hosted feature layer or the map as a hosted feature layer collection....

Thanks for the feedback here @MattiasEkström - No, you seeing your custom basemap gallery is not by design as far as I know, I've never seen that before..... your second screen shot is what everyone should see. I now see this in a Chrome browser if I open - close - open the basemap tool: That is to say, no basemap tiles pull in from the top 'duplicate' local custom basemap (or any network traffic at all). when using Chrome or Edge. The console shows the reason why: The basemap has already been destroyed. Interesting. Again, thanks for looking at this.

Well, in Pro you can't create a clone of the python env at the "C:\\Program Files\. . ." location because that location is always write protected. I would set up something like a "C:\\pyclone\envs\ . . ." directory, making sure the ArcGIS Server service account has read write permissions to the directory and then clone the default environment to that directory. Then you can activate the new environment, run any conda updates and install any custom libraries...
