We recently upgraded to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 and the file name format of the exported files changed from: December-28-2020-at-2-49-36-AM-EST-FULL to: 20211230-031240-EST-FULL How would we need to edit the python script to recognize this format now to delete the old files?

Is there a way to register a view without changing the schema (additional fields get added when registering a view)? I have a view in SQL Server that already has a geometry field. This view is completely truncated and then updated from a linked server in Oracle every evening. Once this view is registered, the schema change breaks this nightly update job. I need to have the view registered so I can serve it out as a feature service on ArcGIS for Server and users can download the data. Any help would be so appreciated!

I would like to use the service from a Find Me SPOT Tracker in an ArcGIS Online Map for a big open water swim competition this weekend. Is there a way to convert it to something that ArcGIS Online could utilize in real time?

It would be really helpful to know how many views all of the content on an organization's ArcGIS Online account are getting in total. On the dashboard, can there just be a total views (public, private, group-wide) for all of the content. That would be a nice number to report to upper level management to gather support for the AGOL platform.

I was actually just looking for the format to input a default date into a date field in a feature class. I found it in the help documentation: yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss AM/PM Thank you for responding!

I am trying to set the default date for a field in a feature class to 01/01/2016 for the new year. I am working in ArcGIS 10.2.2 and when I go to set the default value for the date, it does not work properly and once I hit apply, it codes it changes it to different numbers. Can anyone help me format this default date to make it work properly in the gdb? Thank you kindly!

I asked this question in an ESRI live seminar, and the instructor stated that all data in a collector application will be collected in Web Mercator and projected into its native projection as it is sent back to the database where it belongs.

If you utilize ArcGIS for Server to host your content on ArcGIS Online, you can secure the service on your server with one username and pass and share it out on ArcGIS Online.

I have a feature service set in Albers Harn projection which resides in my organization's SDE, and is served via ArcGIS for Server in a collector application online. When new data is collected, is it being collected in Web Mercator and being projected into Albers Harn in my dataset, or is it all being collected in Albers Harn?

Please provide a way to order maps or items in the carousel based solely on a custom configuration. Right now, the maps can only be ordered by alphabetic order, # of hits, date, owner, and rating. I would like to see a way where an organization’s AGO administrator can order the maps based on a custom configuration

I am the administrator of an organizational ArcGIS Online account, and my users want to access other services on ArcGIS Online that do not belong to my organization. For example: US Historical topo maps: https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html?returnUrl=http%3A//www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html%3Fwebmap%3D0dddf2db319…‌ This is a map service provided by ESRI where a user must have a subscription to view it. My users have an ArcGIS Online subscription using our active directory (federated service), but if they try to access any other ESRI service on ArcGIS online, it does not recognize their username or password. Is there a way for these users to also access services on ArcGIS Online without issue them a username and password that is not linked to our organization's active directory? It would not be beneficial to have to issue 2 usernames and passwords to many of my users. Thank you!
