Hi, Looks like it's not working because you are on version 3.4.3. This a new feature in ArcGIS Pro 3.5 so please update to that version in order to use it. thanks! Andrew

Hi John, I checked with the Scene Viewer team and they confirmed it is not currently supported. It is only supported if you create a custom JS API app. Support in the Scene Viewer is planned for later this year so keep an eye out for that. thanks, Andrew

Hi John, Sorry for the late reply was out on vacation and at the UC. I don't think you missed anything. Let me check with the Scene Viewer team as I was under the impression the custom parameter option worked there too. thanks, Andrew

Hi, This blog explains how you can bring the Google Photorealistic Mesh as an operational layer into ArcGIS Pro 3.5 https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/3d-gis/whats-new-with-3d-tile-layers-arcgis-pro-3-5 We are currently targeting next release of ArcGIS Pro to have it available as a 3D basemap in the basemap gallery. thanks, Andrew

Hi, It can currently be added to both ArcGIS Pro 3.5 and Scene Viewer as an operational layer. Adding it through the basemap control is tentatively planned for next release of ArcGIS Pro and a release of Scene Viewer later this year. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/work-with-3d-tiles-layers.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_0A7AB626E1E545E988EC0EB344C77548 thanks, Andrew

@Marc_Graham I've updated the status as in the product plan as we are working on supporting this functionality in ArcGIS Pro 3.6 and one of the ArcGIS Online releases this year. We are just starting the development cycle so I will give you an update later this year once I have more concrete information for you. thanks, Andrew

Hi, I wanted to provide an update that ArcGIS Pro 3.5, which will be released tentatively in another month or two will support Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles in local and global scenes. The blog below announces this as well. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis/announcements/high-quality-photorealistic-3d-tiles-in-arcgis/ thanks, Andrew

Hi, The data type listed as supported for this tool is layer file or feature layer. Because you are trying to pass a feature class the tool throws the validation error message. You need to add the Make feature layer tool as an intermediate step to ensure a feature layer is being passed to the Create 3D Object tool. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/tool-errors-and-warnings/001001-010000/tool-errors-and-warnings-03376-03400-003379.htm#:~:text=003379%3A%20Feature%20layer%20or%20layer,%E2%80%94ArcGIS%20Pro%20%7C%20Documentation https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/create-3d-object-scene-layer-package.htm thanks, Andrew

Hi Dominic, I ran the script on my 11.4 server and it succeeded. You are running it from this location, correct? C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\framework\runtime\ArcGIS\bin\Python\Scripts\proenv.bat You also tested with other datasets, correct? If it's not any of those issues then there's something else going to which I would direct you to one of our Enterprise Support Analysts so i'd recommend creating a case at support.esri.com to get more specialized assistance. thanks, Andrew

Hi, The layer created from a Revit file is a building layer and is already represented as a multipatch so you don't need to use the Layer 3D To Feature Class tool. You can pass that directly into the Create Building Scene Layer Content tool to create the slpk to publish as a web scene layer to ArcGIS Online. thanks, Andrew
