It would be great if agol (or portal) administrators could impersonate a user to see what user experience they have and confirm they have the right permissions and access. We seem to spend a bit of time following trails of permissions for maps, layer, web app, etc.. to make sure a particular user can access content correctly. This capability would hopefully make this process only take only take a few seconds to sort out rather than going back and forth with the end user confirming they have the right access. Other systems have this capability such as service now. The capability to impersonate could be a permission based option in itself eg allow user to impersonate that administrators could set. If concerns are raised over editing content or data while impersonating maybe the edit tracking could be highlighted with the impersonate details eg last edited by: adminaccount (impersonating otheruser) or editing could just be disabled while impersonating.

Hi, We have many experience sites hosted on agol that were created over the past year or so and many of them take advantage of the embed widget to link to s123 forms or dashboards, the embed url was created using what was then the expression option and connected to data. After the april agol update all these embeds now show an error message on the published site to the end users that only https is supported. This displays until a record is selected, very confusing for them, and the embed then loads correctly. The error is misleading as the url that was used was https (you could only use https). See attachment.... end user error.jpg. Also then with the update in the builder site we seem to have lost the visibility to update/see what the original url expression was, the new widget settings just shows the name that was originally applied to the expression but we cannot seem to see the expression itself, it's almost like in the config conversion the wrong information was transferred. See attachment... embed config options.jpg. This makes it extremely difficult for us to go back and fix the many sites! Does anyone know a quick fix for this problem other than spending many hours trawling through the web browser console log to find the original url? I doubt we are the only ones with the issue, for us to now find the time to fix the many sites this was used, which is probably a few days work at least, is very frustrating and makes me not want to utilise experience builder sites if this is going to be a ongoing problem with updates and configuration not transferred appropriately. Cheers Graeme

Hi, On the web form, questions that are select_one, set to minimal appearance and also read only are still interactive to the user. This is very confusing for the users as it accepts their change in the drop down but the change won't be saved. I have found some workarounds using text, notes, jr:choice_name etc... but these are very time consuming to implement. There is also a major issue that if that question is also set to 'required', on ios one of the options in the drop down is '....' (null basically) this will make the form unusable if this option is selected as they are not meeting the required status and it wont accept any other values now. Baiscally these form elements should not be interactive if read only. I think the date selector is the same plus others no doubt. It would be good to see this fixed. Using latest version, connect etc... but has been a problem for a while. Cheers, Graeme

We too have now just started to get this issue, many forms embedded (dashboards and experience builder) with the same issue but only the same record affects them all. The only solution I have found is to tick 'Always use latest version' in the settings of the survey on survey123 website. I cannot see anything different with that one record.

Still no update? Our users are very frustrated with this issue, I have to get them to visit arcgis.com and sign in before using any experience builder sites, sending them to experience.arcgis.com is not user friendly as the site thumbnails are for editing the site not using the site, so they are presented with messages that they cannot edit the site as they dont have those permissions. I am not sure why experience builder cannot just display the login screen like every other arcgis online app, why is this credential caching even happening in the first place.

I agree Karen, hopefully the experience developers can solve this permanently so it doesn't repeat with each release. We had to come up with instructions for our staff to assist in clearing their cache, with so many browsers and devices in use it's a bit of a nightmare solution, safari is particularly difficult, about 5 levels deep in the app settings. I hope they dont rely on users having to clear the cache as being the permanent solution.

Hi Jianxia and Tonghui, We have diagonisoned it as a cache login issue, clearing the users browser cache fixes the problem. Cheers Graeme

Hi Jianxia, It's not a public site, I have added you to the group as well. I'll contact the local support, ESRI Australia, to get it reproducible as well. Cheers, G

Hi Tonghui, I have given you access to an experience builder - you can view it here Experience Sometimes the embedded survey123 forms load other times they give the refused to connect message Select a record on the list for the connect to data embed to work. The refused to connect always appears in the bottom left which is a dashboard passing a parameter (objectid).

Hi Jianxia, It appears to be somewhat fixed, works ok in firefox but in Edge or Chrome for some embeds we are recieving errors like "lmcc.maps.arcgis.com refused to connect" or "arcgis.com refused to connect" displayed on the page. The console shows errors: Refused to display 'https://lmcc.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/oauth2/authorize?client_id=dashboards&response_type=token&state=%7B%22portalUrl%22%3A%22ht...............%2Flmcc.maps.arcgis.com%2Fapps%2Fdashboards%2Fc76e3cb482214f359563dbb0e1ad07cb' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'. Note that these we working fine before the weekend on any browser/device. I am not aware of any software updates. Cheers, Graeme

We have the same problem too. Lots of issues over the last two days with various widgets not working, s123 widget is now back working but now the embeds not working, seems to be not liking the url domain its getting changed to https://undefined.undefined/..... We have a workaround with using iframes (code option) but this only works if you dont want to use "connect to data" and pass paramaters in the embed site url.

If I could add to this idea, the ability to pass attachments and the ability to pass text that contains special characters such as a line return (I would nearly go so far as to call this one a bug).
