Hello, I am using Portal for ArcGIS 10.8.1. My creator admin user has 'Included' AppStudio license. According to this documentation "Members with included or add-on licenses can access the app from the app launcher or download the software from appstudio.arcgis.com." However I am not able to see AppStudio in App Launcher. I have one add-on license as well which I assigned to newly added Portal for ArcGIS Member with Standard user type and Administrator Role, still it is not there for that user. Are there any additional steps required to see AppStudio in App Launcher? Thanks in advance! Hemant

ArcGIS Portal based web application are accessible for users from multiple ADFS (multiple internal and multiple external domains) . Is it possible to achieve this through SAML authentication by manually configuring multiple SERVICE PROVIDERS within Portal for ArcGIS? Is it possible and supported by ESRI for KERBEROS? Portal of ArcGIS could connect to single IDP (identity provider) and also multiple IDPs using a DISCOVERY service. Is it possible to achieve connectivity to portal using multiple IDPs individually without configuring them in discovery service? is there any possibility to achieve this at IIS level? Found this article: FAQ: Is it possible to configure multiple identity providers for Enterprise Logins in ArcGIS Online? Doesn't say if there are any other ways. Thanks in Advance! Hemant

Hi, Following are few extensions of shapefile; .fbn and .fbx—The files that store the spatial index of the features for shapefiles that are read-only. .ain and .aih—The files that store the attribute index of the active fields in a table or a theme's attribute table. My questions are; 1) When would .fbn and .fbx files will be created in shapefile? What are read only features of shapefile? 2) When would .ain and .aih files will be created in shapefile? Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks Darren, I am on 10.2.1 where these queries don't work. It works in 9.3.1. GIS Stackexchange were not working on select by attribute. Thanks for the help.

Hi, I am trying to select by attribute query in a file geodatabase, [Address_ID] In (SELECT [Address_ID] FROM [Sunset_and_Goldengate_Monday_II] GROUP BY [Address_ID] HAVING Count(*)>1 ) It is not working, whereas it works in Personal geodatabase. I want o select features which has maximum values in let's say b field. And I have Address_ID field which has duplicate entries like this; Address_ID B A 1 A 2 A 3 B 1 B 2 So I want to select A which has 3 (Maximum) as a value in B field, also b which has 2 (maximum) as a value. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Riyas, feature classes and raster are not under any dataset. What I used FC model for feature class and Raster model for raster separately giving test folder as a workspace which contains all my fGDBs. That worked. I don't see how I can automate the model so that in one model I could get both outputs. anyways I am good for now.

Hi Riyas, Thanks for reply. I tried what you suggested, model looks something like this; Inside nested models FC and Rasters, there are iterators for Feature class and Rasters. And just for testing purpose I am adding copy tool. However, it is not working. Am I missing anything?

I presume its a geodatabase table (non spatial) and not excel from your description. Could you tell what is the cardinality of RC (1-1, M-M)?

I have a few databases inside a folder containing raster and vector files. I want a model which will iterate through all file GDBs and at the end using extract data tool (Server tools) extract the data as per extent of a feature class for all the raster and FC. I tried using iterate workspace on folder. But it runs through GDBs and not through FCs and raster datasets it contains. Any help is appreciated. ArcGIS 10.2.2 Advanced

By creating new .mxd, you saved the changes made in your map document so far, hence the next time when you ran calculate geometry, software presumed that you know the warning you have received previously.

From the popup I think you still can perform calculate geometry. As popup mentions, you are having more than 500 records on which you will be running calculate geometry. So its just a warning message that you can not use ArcGIS's undo and redo functionality for the changes made by calculate geometry. It also says if you are in editing session while doing calculate geometry, you can undo changes by not saving the edits. So bottom line is, you can use your calculate geometry. I hope that is what you are looking for.

There you go when you reply in Geonet forum you will see following symbol in your reply textbox; if you click on that you get an option to browse to the location of your screenshot. Select and insert the image. Now, back to your question, may I know which layer properties have you opened? Is it a point line or polygon? If you open up another layer do you see the same symbol option?
