Thanks! I'll explore that a little. I think I figured the thing I needed to do was use the Extract Data tool and create a shapefile I can share. Would still like to understand why I didn't get an "Export data" option in the Layer options menu, but the urgency is gone...

In a Web Map in ArcGIS online, I have added several filters to a layer with the goal of creating a random sample of street segments. I want to create a layer that includes ONLY those selected street segments, so that there is a permanent list of the random sample and it can't get messed up by adjusting filters, etc. If I've understood how this should work (i.e., according to ChatGPT), there should be an option under the menu for that layer within the Web Map that includes "Export Data." But it isn't there. Some things I have verified: --My organization is the owner of the original layer. --I am the administrator of the account. --It is a hosted feature layer. --For the feature layer, edting is enabled. --And I have enabled the option to allow other users to save a copy. Grateful for any suggestions on why the Export Data option isn't available OR other ways to get those random segments pulled into a shareable file of some sort of their own.

Thanks to you both! I'll try rebuilding the whole thing in Dashboards Beta, but based on OlesyaPowers1's experience, it doesn't sound promising. Hopefully we'll still get some other ideas.

Looking at other related queries, it seems like the map layer should be showing up under Actions in the element's configuration, but it's not.

In my dashboard (here), the different dashboard elements are linked so that if you click one bar on the bar chart, for example, the other dashboard pieces update. For example, if you click one tree species, the "number of trees planted" updates to show only the number of that species. This is GREAT! But how do I make the map update too? That is, when you click one particular species in the bar chart, can you make the map show only those trees?

I'm trying to upload a .csv file to create a hosted feature layer. I click Add Item > From My Computer, but the box that appears does not include a "Publish this file as a hosted layer" option at all. I have administrator privileges. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
