ESRI support helped me solve this issue. I needed to Enable Editing in the Web Map properties. See screen shot.

It sounds like the permissions on the feature layer are fine. Could there be something wrong with my colleague's user profile?

I have a hosted feature layer that is shared with Everyone(public). I have set all the settings so that editing is completely allowed for anybody who is signed in. Why can't another member of my organization (signed in) edit points in the layer? If I open the layer in Map Viewer and click on a point, I get a pop-up window that includes an Edit button. I can use that Edit button to delete the point. However, if my colleague opens it and clicks on a point, her pop-up window does not include an Edit button. Here is a screen shot of the Settings for the feature layer:

I am finding that it is very cumbersome to repair data sources for multiple layers in ArcGIS Pro. For example, if you change the location of your files in your directory (as happens when you migrate to One-Drive or change any folder names), then you need to fix data sources for all layers in all maps. In ArcMap, it was possible to right-click on one broken layer and select Data-->Repair Data Source, and it would automatically repair all layers with the same relative path (but different data sources). This does not seem to be possible in ArcPro. It is necessary to do each layer individually, which can be a mammoth task if you have many maps each with many layers. Why doesn't ArcPro provide this simple functionality?

Actually, this may not be a 100% solution. It didn't seem to help the next time I ran into the issue.

I was able to get my offline areas to download by removing and reinstalling the Field Maps app on my phone. I found this hint here https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-field-maps-blog/arcgis-field-maps-offline-map-areas-packaging/ba-p/1098317

I have been using ArcPad (with an Archer2 mobile GPS unit) to do annual surveys of ponds. I divided the ponds up into 1/2 acre quadrants and filled out a survey form for each quadrant. When the survey for a quadrant was complete, the quadrant changed color, and the survey data was populated in a geodatabase by quadrant. Now, I understand that ArcPad is being phased out, so I am trying to figure out how to replace it. Is Survey123 the replacement for ArcPad for this application? If so, I have a couple questions about Survey123: How can I set up Survey123 so that it is visible real-time to the surveyor which quadrants have been completed? I have tried creating a WebMap that has the feature layer from the survey and a feature layer of quadrants, but that is not ideal. It is slow and requires an online connection, and it just shows a single survey point not a highlighted quadrant. How can I set up Survey123 so it doesn't have to reload the survey between each entry? In other words, when I use ArcPad, everything is offline and I just click on my new location to quickly launch a new survey form. With Survey123, when I click "Collect Data" it has to load a new survey form and downloads the map from ArcGIS Online. It is slow. I tried creating some offline map areas, but it doesn't seem to speed this process up. How do I make my WebMap show up faster in the map widget? I noticed that if I use the Basic basemap it appears fast, but if I use my feature layer, which is just a few quadrant outlines, it is very slow loading. In the map widget, how do I change the default zoom level?

This is a good tutorial, but the thing I am surprised about is that the basic export functionality does not provide any field to tell you if an attachment exists. I don't need to automatically download attachments, but I need to know which records to look at for attachments.

Thank you. Survey123 may actually be the best solution. I didn't realize it could be used without an app.

Thank you for the response Alix. I'm glad to learn about the Crowdsource Reporter. It seems like that is actually designed to do exactly what I want. To describe my specific workflow. I want the general public to be able to report invasive species in my watershed. I'm looking for a simple url-link application that provides map-based ability to report what they see. The application must be open to the public. It must not require a login. And it is best if it doesn't require them to install an app. Then, as administrator, I need the ability to see and their reports and download a table of reports and show their reports on a map. Survey123 has not met my needs because it requires installation of an app. Regarding the batch delete capability, I would like the ability to easily delete reports as administrator. I don't want to give users the ability to batch delete, so I don't think the Batch Attribute Editor widget would be useful. Regarding the ability to manipulate widget window sizes, I took a look at the ArcGIS Experience Builder. This does have better functionality for sizing, but I did not find the Edit Widget very friendly. It did not provide the ability to turn off fields such as Snapping and other unnecessary fields in the widget. These fields will just confuse the public user. Regarding the save button in the Edit Widget, thanks for pointing out the Smart Editor Widget. That does have a better save button, though it has some additional issues, such as defaulting the cursor location to a pick-list field where you shouldn't be able to type text. In testing the Crowdsource Reporter, it looks good, but I also ran into some less than desirable functionality: The Report List doesn't seem to be able to show anything other than the feature layer name. This is odd, because the list just shows the same name for every report. It would be better to have it show something more useful. The map doesn't automatically show all existing reports. It is awkward to have to click "show more reports" to add them to the map.

I am trying to use a Web Mapping App for crowdsourcing information from the public about invasive plants in local rivers. I have found the functionality to be awkward and not very satisfactory. Here are the issues I ran into: A Feature Layer is created to manage and store the data records. However, it is not possible to edit the data records in the Feature Layer. I would like to manipulate data records after members of the public have entered them. But, the only way to do this is to open the online Web Map that contains the feature layer, and in the Web Map it is only possible to edit one record at a time. If I want to delete a set of records, that is not possible. In the Web Mapping App, it is not possible to define the size of the widget windows when they open. For example, the Edit Widget takes up a large portion of the screen (on computers and mobile devices) and it covers up much of the map. In the Web Mapping App, the only way to exit the widgets is to click the very small X at the top right. This is hard to do on a small screen. In the Edit Widget, there is no clear Save button, even if I choose the option "Don't apply edits to the attributes until clicking the Save button". The only way to save is to click the very small X at the top right. This is not intuitive. The My Location widget functionality is clunky. It shows you your location, but it doesn't help you place your next edit at your location. Also, when it is turned on, on a mobile device, the Edit Widget window has trouble positioning itself because it covers up your location and it is hard to locate your edit. In the Edit Widget, sometimes photo attachments do not load. I can't figure out why that is.
