I figured out what the issue is, and ESRI has confirmed that it is a bug. It is related to the Pages that I have in my survey. If I remove the Pages, then I am able to add the calculation to the Site Name field with no issues. Everything works fine when there are no Pages. After I have added the calculation, I am able to add back the Pages and the survey works fine for the end user. However, as soon as I add back the Pages I am no longer able to edit the calculation of any of the fields. The workaround until ESRI fixes the bug is to remove Pages, make your edits, and then recreate the Pages.

I'm not sure what you mean by the same layer. The site ID and site name are both in the WQ_Sites_All_Years_DB layer. The user enters site ID in another field. I want this field to return site name.

This was working fine for me a couple days ago, but now I am not able to define a calculation in a Survey123 field. I am editing in the Survey123 website. I have a field called 'Site Name' that I want to automatically populate based on another field called 'Site ID'. I'm using the calculation function to filter a layer file based on the Site_id attribute as in the screenshot below. It seems to work fine and I Save the form, but when I leave to the Overview screen and then return to the Design screen the calculation function is completely gone. It doesn't matter whether I publish or not. The calculation does not get saved. This was working fine a couple days ago. What could be wrong? Edit: Note that this works fine if I create a new survey from scratch. Why can't I edit an existing survey?

That works. I guess that must mean that the editor tracking does not work for anonymous users.

Is it possible to remove the Edit and Resend option in Survey123? When you use Survey123 in the app, after submitting a survey, all submitted surveys are listed in the Sent box in the app. If you click on a submission entry, you get the following options: view, edit and resend, copy data to a new survey. Is it possible to remove or deactivate the edit and resend option for all users? When anonymous users click it and try to edit an entry, they get an error and the survey moves to the Outbox. This is annoying and confusing for users. I would like to just turn off the edit and resend option. If that were the case, why would there be an option to allow anonymous editors access to the same things as signed in editors? In the Survey123 app, it is clearly able to track your entries because it lists them in the Sent folder.

I have created a Survey123 survey. I have set the same public sharing settings for the three feature layers that were created: regular, _form, and _results For all three, I have set the settings to allow anybody to create and edit their own features. But, when I try to anonymously edit a feature that I have anonymously created in the Survey123 app (on Android), I get an error message saying "This survey could not be sent due to the following error: _". No error is described. Here are my settings:

I've found that Shift-Enter and "<br>" seem to work within ArcPro. But, "<br>" doesn't pass from ArcPro to Excel in the Table to Excel tool. I need to pass a carriage return from ArcPro to Excel and then to Google MyMaps. Shift-Enter does seem to work.

I spoke with ESRI support and they helped me resolve this issue. It seems to have been caused by a ghost layer that I had removed from my web map at an earlier time. There was still some false remnant of the layer in the web map. The way I resolved this was to open the web map in Map Viewer Classic and save it there (overwriting itself). At this step, I received an error message mentioning the ghost layer, but I clicked through that and saved anyway. Then I backed out and opened the web map in the new Map Viewer and saved it there. Then I opened my dashboard and the map widget was functional again.

Has anybody found a solution to this? It is really really really annoying! I think I have narrowed the issue down to the Web Map. All of a sudden this web map got corrupted. If I use a different web map, I don't have this issue. But if I use this web map in any new dashboard, I get the issue above. If I make a copy of the web map and put that in a dashboard, I get the issue. But, an old copy of my dashboard (from several days ago), which uses the "corrupted" web map works fine and does not have this issue. I have tried different browsers (Firefox and Edge).

How can I add to a dashboard date modified for the data in the dashboard? I added a Rich Text widget with the following text "Last update: {item/modified}". This shows the modified date for the dashboard, not for the data in the dashboard. How do I get the date for the data or feature layer in the dashboard?
