Oh yes maybe is better change the title. So, 1- I'd to validate the values and to fire the same rules when i add a new feature or divide a polygon. 2-I noted that is necessary to have a globalId field (even if I don't use it) to use the 'nextsequencevalue' 3- And, yes, the cod_alf will be always 'PP'. Thanks @JoeBorgione , i'll follow yours advices let you know Grazie!

Hi guys thanks for yours answers @DanPatterson @JoeBorgione @XanderBakker Unfortunately what i’m trying to do became complicate. I’ll try explain I want to create a concatenate field ( other 4 fields). Then, at the same introduce an attribute rule for each field So, my feature has: cod_fab that is already compilate cod_seq for what I do calculate field –> Sequential number from 10.000 interval 1 cod_alfa with two letters, the same for all records (calculate field ) cod_unique concatenate field (cod_fab + cod_alfa + cod_seq) The attribute rules that I want to create for fields above is : a. If cod_fab is null or zero return 00000 b. Nextsequencevalue, in cod_seq, from 54.398 c. Compilate PP in cod_alfa field d. Concatenate in cod_unique: cod_fab (its numeric field - 5 digits), cod_alfa(PP) e cod_seq The result should be something like that 36049PP54394 My problems are: 1-create and run all these attribute rule 2- Implement all these attribute rules in feature that has more than 44.400 geometries 3 - Some records have cod_fab zero, so I try to put 00000 in cod_unique to complete the field. Yours advices will be very very welcome !! Thanks and sorry for delay (in the last hours I try to do alone with many errors and no success) thaina mota

Hi everyone, i'd like to know if its possible to concatenate an original GlobalID field with another numeric one. I'm trying to create a field(COD_ID) that contain $feature.GlobalID + $feature.CODFAB = COD_ID Thanks so much! thai mota

Hi Melinda, I followed all your instructions (as I show in this new video) The result generated a unique polygon when I used trim + merge polygon, without stranges spikes. I also used trim+no merge, which generated some internal clippings. In neither of them the result is great but I understood the differences! thanks so much!

Hi everyone, please a trying to put in join a feature and one table in AGOL. In a feature I have 4 records and in table 7 records. So I trying to join one to many from a feature to table without success. There are another way ? I'd like connect the feature(buildings) with the table where I salve for each building more than one record. Each feature-building has an univocal number, that is repeat in the table. Thanks a lot how to join join# agol base arcgisonline layers arcgisonline tables #attribute table rules

Melinda many thanks for your reply! I used the algorithm but nothing happened...maybe the algorithm has difficulty or is not adapted to arcmap 10.5. I noted that if I used 'not overlapping' instead of 'merge by break value' genereted less spikes.

Hi Dan, thanks to your answer! no, I didn't use trim. To create a network I used arcstra which are the roads. There are no roads or places outside In the video I show what I used as parameter...many things remain by default. thanks a lot!

Buongiorno I am trying to use network analysis - service area - to create a polygon based on distance, for example 1000 meters. In my case, dot = schools. So I want to see an area covered by 1000 meters. There's one thing I can't understand... Why does it generate some weird clippings? as in the photo Thank you so much! Hi, please all inputs and feedbacks will be appreciate.... I have a layer in a geodatabase that I need a unique ID field (for joining)Its a building feature, in continuous update. Also, I have an table where i save, for each building, one or more links that will open in a webapp one or more documents for each construction. So, I have two problems: 1. create an autoincrement field when new feature is added or modified . For this, maybe a can use a Global_Id. However is too long; 2. modify at the same time feature table and linked table(table joined). Because i need to give for each construction one or more documents. an attached a video thanks a lot ! thaina #globalid #topographic #buildings #autoincrement id #autoincrement editing arcgis desktop #joined tables

ok, maybe i'm little confused! as i understood, it is necessary to have a url documents as an attribute to active the link in pop up. (its that why i thought to create one column for each url) I have to upload in AGOL a geodatabase with a relate or join active to enable attachments, it's correct? Thanks Katherine
