Hi, I'm trying to do something similar. I need to collect plant data by lifeform in a plot. I have it set up as a repeat so you enter the species then the canopy cover% and select_one perennial or annual. I want to then calculate the sum of canopy cover for perennial species. I'm having 2 issues: 1)on my shrubs the sum does not give you a total value until you scroll back through the responses, I want it to automatically update. 2) on forbs and graminoids it doesn't sum the canopy values at all. Please help.

I'm also having the same issue and I'm not sure where the issue is since everything published without validation errors. The surveys get submitted but then the data tab says "An error occurred while loading the page. Some features may not work"

Thanks Zachary! I did have a new field in a repeat. Updating to the newest version seems to have solved the problem!

Hello, I have a survey that has been in use for a few years now, I've made several updates throughout that time using Survey123 Connect. On the most recent update we are adding a several fields but none of the choice lists have changed, and none of the existing fields were deleted. When I try to publish it indicates that the survey has already been published and then lists the fields not found. I click on the "Add the following fields when publishing" then click publish survey. At this point the process seems to get hung up. It says "Getting information and the dot wheel just continually spins. I've let this go for several hours, it never progresses past getting information nor does it ever give an error message. I have Survey123 Connect v. 3.12.232 I tried to turn off the web map option to see if that made a difference, it did not The file has never changed, it's the same as when it was first created. Please help!

I am having a similar issue. I'm trying to publish an update to an existing survey, we are adding a few fields but I wouldn't think it would create such a problem. There is no error message given the process just seems to be stuck. We did not add anything new to our choices tab and the survey published fine before, not sure what the hang up is?

Hi John, Yeah, I thought about the hyperlink possibility, the thing is, it works when we're connected to WIFI, just not in the field while offline. So I'm not sure if that's normal? The survey is already downloaded on our devices, so with it not working we just operate them independent of each other, it's just annoying and makes extra steps when we get back to the office

Hi! I have a survey that I want to launch from a feature layer in Collector. I went the route of the pop up link but I'm finding if I'm in the field offline the link doesn't work. Is there a method that would accomplish the same thing (ie launching a specific survey from a feature layer) while we are doing field work without cellular or wifi?? Thanks for any help!

I am trying to set up something similar launching my survey123 from the pop up in a feature layer in Collector. The problem I'm running into is that often in the field we have no service and have to run offline, the link doesn't launch the survey when we are offline. Is there a way around that? Thanks!

I want to export data as a file geodatabase but when I do I get an error that just says "Failed to Export" it will export in other forms but that is not really what I want.

Is it possible to structure the results for a Survey123 into subgroup folders, so that the survey is still central to the larger group and I can see all the results together if needed and updates just get published to the one survey but the subgroups can see just their data w/o filtering.
