Hi Zachary, I would like to see if a similar workflow would exist where we scan QR Codes to open a Survey123 in the field app. We want to have large scale plots and print out QR Codes to attach to flags (hundreds of them), and when you scan the flag four features associated with that flag (Flag Number etc.) autopopulate in a survey. I am not sure where to start, if I want to use a QR code generator but the only consistent information between flags would be obviously the form's Item ID so it opens the form correctly.... Is this possible with hundreds of flags (points).

Hi, I wanted to create 1000's of QR code tags to place around multiple tree plantings. Using a qr code generator, could I create 1000's of qr codes based off a CSV table of maybe 4 attributes, i.e. Tree Type, Soil, Management Type, Date Planted? Then somehow link all of those trees to autopopulate fields in Survey123? I read Ismael's blog, but that part didn't really get highlighted... Do you know off any current workflows that I could replicate?

I am also interested in not only counting unique selections across repeats, but also then using the returned selections to calculate a value. Has there been any advance in this in the last 14 months?

Hi James. Seeing as you can capture geopoints in repeats now, is there anyway I can set it that as soon as you select a repeat, it will automatically capture your XY location without having to open up the map and drop a pin? When I have a geopoint question in my repeat, it is great because it saves it in the metadata, I just didn't want to have my users actually have to open up the map to drop a pin.

Hi, What if I have a choice list of 500 trees, and a select one question in a repeat where I can chose a tree, then enter info like diameter breast height (dbh), and then calculate the basal area. Then outside the repeat, I want to sum all the dbh values for each species choses, and also average the basal area calculations from inside the repeat. I have done this on a smaller scale (24 trees), by giving all the trees a number, number(if(selected(${trees},'White_Oak'),1,0)), but when I want to do all of the tree species nation wide this could get cumbersome, thoughts?

I was wondering if you could you use a pull data function, similar to Survey123, where I have a table with 'Scientific Name, Common Name, NRCS Plant Code' where if I identify one value, i.e. NRCS Plant Code, it would populate both the Scientific Name and the Common Name based on a table. Would that be possible??

I have been having some problems with my grid survey, and I downloaded the Grid sample survey in Connect and if you look at the picture it doesn't layout very well. My question was how to get a survey to add a page. I have an embedded repeat, but for some reason, it shows up on the first page as well. Thank you.

When I have Survey123 generate a report template for my survey, it has multiple fails and does not return photos. The start tag ${# Photos} is unclosed. Error: An error occurred when checking the report template. Failed to parse ${add_photo_captions_here_separat} since add_photo_captions_here_separat cannot be found in the current parsing scope. How can these fail when this is the report template ESRI created? I also tried to use Eddy Clark's solution from September: Add this to the end of your doc. ${#$attachment} ${$file | size:350:0} ${/$attachment} I get an error message and a return that states, "Failed to parse ${$file | size:350:0} since $file cannot be found in the current parsing scope." I just want to create a simple report to extract photos from my surveys, but do not know a better way to do it.

It is shared with the USFS at organization level. It is not a layer associated with the survey was deleted at some point, as the survey functioned for months correctly, and no changes were made. It was published with the latest version. It shouldn't be a device issue, as no one can access it via survey123, and some of our laptops are brand new. We have also tried to access it via Chrome browser, and IE. All of our FS field devices used to collect the data are on Android 8 OS or better, and our iOS devices are current as well. It is not shared to freely. I am an AGOL admin, and do not allow editing of the survey, only the data you the collector collects. I guess the only thing I have to check would be the latent data not sent from the inbox, however, the issue we are facing isn't a mobile issue, but a Survey123.arcgis.com (browser) issue. I can still open and send surveys just find, just not access the data.

We were trying to both export the data, and edit existing data. I do not believe it to be a connectivity issue, as it did not work in the office, at home, and my colleague received the same issue at her home office. No edits were made to this survey for 4 months. No changes to the feature layer, or edits to survey in Connect. No changes were made in the settings, nothing. The survey is located here https://survey123.arcgis.com/surveys/ad63f7280d924de1bc5f2fd7f30b5a62/overview, and the issue was noted last week and still seems to be persisting, either with an error message or just freezing when I go to the data tab.

I am trying to extract some data from the Survey123 website and I am getting a couple different errors when trying to load data, "Pages Unresponsive" or "This Page Isn't Responding". Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I have an existing gdb with thousands of UTM NAD 83 coordinates and I was wondering if I could create a survey and use the pulldata() function in order to create a geopoint based on UTM coordinates. I know you can use the ${locationcalculation} to create a geopoint based on lat longs, but since our surveyors would like to populate this survey with UTM, am I able to create geopoints from those?

It has been brought to my attention that our surveying field staff who require high accuracy location capture would like to implement Survey123 in their workflows. I was wondering if you have any information I could provide my field surveyors regarding Survey123 pairing with survey grade GPS. I've read a few GeoNet conversations, and reviewed a lot of Trimble blogs, but I am not an experienced surveyor so I am not familiar with Trimble Access and Trimble Business Center so if you know of anyone who has worked with that software and weather it would be compatible with Survey123 any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
