@TimoT Thank you for your great answer. I really appreciate it. After reviewing the official Esri documentation, I wasn’t able to locate any specific hardware recommendations for a VM dedicated to ArcGIS Data Store (e.g., CPU, memory, disk). Are such guidelines available from Esri?

Hi everyone, I'm currently planning an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment and would like your input on a key architectural decision. Is there a significant advantage to installing ArcGIS Data Store on a dedicated server rather than on the same machine as ArcGIS Server, particularly when the Data Store will be used primarily for 3D data visualization (e.g., mesh layers, multipatch features, point clouds, etc.)? We’re estimating around 2 TB of storage for the hosted data. Performance and scalability are important considerations, especially for smooth rendering and interaction with 3D content in web scenes and apps. We would prefer the simplicity of installing ArcGIS Data Store on the same server as ArcGIS Server. However, if it's recommended or if there are clear advantages to using a dedicated server, we’re open to going that route. If anyone has experience with similar setups or insights into best practices for this kind of workload, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Since this post is a little bit old, is there a new way to enforce Good AA with the ManageTileCache geoprocessing tool in arcpy? In Pro 2.9 they added the support of the display option for exporting to pdf from arcpy: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/control-antialiasing-for-export-to-tiff-pdf-in/idi-p/1019601 Is something similar is possible for ManageTileCache? Thank you

Hi, I have problems with CityEngine and the Licence Manager. Our organization is using CityEngine 2023.1 but since our Licence Manager was upgraded to version 2024.0, we cannot use it. In the CityEngine documention it says a Licence Manager version 2023.0 is needed https://doc.arcgis.com/en/cityengine/2023.1/get-started/cityengine-license-manager-quick-start-guide.htm I would like to re-install the Licence Manager version 2023.0 but it is not available in My Esri anymore. Only version 2025 can be downloaded. I dont know what to do. Is it normal that CityEngine cannot works with a more recent version of Licence Manager? Thank you for your help

I cannot test with the latest version of ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Enterprise. Is this problem still present with Pro 3.4?

Hi! I am using Pro 2.9.14 to create an aprx that contains a Network Dataset and a ClosestFacilities Analysis layer. I used the Add Field To Analysis Layer (Network Analyst) to add some fields to the <<Facilities>> sublayer of the analysis layer, namely the ADRESSE and ADRESSE_TOPONYMIE fields. However, when I publish to Arcgis Enterprise 10.9.1 (which have the NA extension), those new fields are not included in the NAServer and are not available in the <<Facilities>> layer. Only the default fields are published. Is there a way to publish the NAServer with those fields? I wonder if this is a bug, a new limitation or if there is an option to make this working. Thank you for your help!

ok thank you, but as I said in the post, I just have the featureClass names, not the path with the dataset. Of course, if I did have the complete path, I could use pathlib or os.path to retreive the dataset from it.

I agree with this idea. To me, the problem is even larger because the whole python API is full of inconsistencies between methods or object property names. Even the the new cim is awfully conceived.
