I did have 'auto-destroy-disabled' set on some of the components, so I removed it. There's only one map on the web page though. The original is using Angular 20 and ESM; converted the basic functionality over except for one piece that is Angular specific (there's a flag that's used to choose between map and scene). The idea is that the map/scene loads to a preset point, then the user can click a button to go to a new point of interest. In the Angular version, this line: console.log("button clicked: ", viewElement.suspended) would return true instead of false after the click and the map doesn't load, but the UI (zoom, search) is still there. https://codepen.io/fentonc/pen/VYevJmX

What causes the "suspended" attribute to change from the default value of "true" to "false"? The documentation says it indicates if the view is visible on the page, so what changes can cause the view to not be visible?

Caching tools are not running. Last time this happened, WIndirstat found something but I didn't make a note of what was found at that time. I'll need to wait for the next time it happens, seems to be about once a month so far (not Windows Updates, that is handled by WSUS and it wasn't the day those are applied).

I use WinDirStat for that, should look into TreeSize Free also. Do temp files wind up in other locations? Server was installed into C, but the arcgisserver directory is on D (also the same drive that has the low disk space warning).

Tile caches are on the same machine and are 100% processed ahead of time (usually zoom levels 10-19). Tile cache jobs depend on the size and past behavior (ex: it's known that one of the older basemaps in use takes 3 hours to create all tiles at all zoom levels 10-19, so that one can run after hours). Larger jobs will run on a different machine and are copied over. Page file: using system defaults (which may be an issue, the server has 128 GB memory)

Has anyone seen unexplained high disk usage with ArcGIS Server 11.1 on Windows Server 2022 Datacenter? This is a standalone server, not federated to any Portals. Our server monitoring has picked up 2 times where the server storage has spiked to over 90% space used (normal for the registered folders is around 30% used). No new services are being published and service usage is low. No tile cache creation jobs are in progress (this is intended to be an internal basemap server). Web adaptor is on a different machine. Logging onto the server does not show any large files being created, but File Explorer shows the drive as running out of space. This is resolved by either restarting the main ArcGIS Server service or doing an OS restart.

When embedding a category selector in ArcGIS Dashboard, it's taking time to load the records. However, in Dashboard Classic, loading of records is much faster. Please fix this.

We have an Enterprise geodatabase in SQL Server. The DBAs have reported that the transaction log file is extremely large. The log file should normally shrink after the backup is completed, but since there is a low level of database activity (registered to several ArcGIS Servers, automated ETL processes), the file never shrinks. Has anyone seen this and have a suggestion besides continuing to add more disk space?

We have a table of around 7000 unique streets as the data source for a dropdown. However, clicking on the dropdown can take around 10 sec to show the entire listing. Is there a way to speed this up? The service is coming from a standalone ArcGIS Server and is stored as an item on our ArcGIS Enterprise (10.9.1).

Has anyone tried wrapping parts of the Javascript API into an Angular library? We use Angular 11 (library still uses ViewEngine; haven't tried Ivy yet). The library can build and works correctly locally. It's then published to our internal repo for other developers to use. A test app using the published library gives errors saying that @arcgis/core can't be found. Ideally, other developers should not need to install @arcgis/core. Is there a way around this? Versions: Angular 11.2.14, @arcgis/core 4.20.2

After trying on my end, we might go back to esri loader for the rewrite for now. I tried forcing the height and width within angular and it was completely ignored; even changing it on the fly from the dev tools didn't work.

@AndyGupThis is where it gets interesting: I copied the map and view into the jsapi-resources sample and it worked. I tried it again in my library/test app and got the same issue (autoscrolling and WebGL errors in console). Code of the library and test app is zipped and attached; we have internal repos for our code. Run 'npm install', then 'ng serve mycityapp' There are more instructions in the readme at cssample\projects\cchnlmap, but this should be enough to reproduce the issue.

I'm using the following: Angular 11.2.11 ES modules 4.19.1 I'm trying to get a sample working of our map component library (originally done in Angular 9 and using esri-loader). For now, I have the code from the Intro to MapView - Create a 2D map sample hardcoded into the library. When I run the app locally (built library and ng serve), I get an automatic scroll of the map. The console also shows WebGL errors. Any ideas what's causing this? I tried the Angular sample from the Esrt reources github and that runs correctly on its own.

We have a need to add another built-in account to a standalone ArcGIS Server 10.6. The server is already connected and configured to use Active Directory and IWA for users and roles. Is there a way to add the local user without having to change the security configuration?
