Hi Thomas Jones Thanks for your reply. Yes there was an existing ArcGIS Server site before we attempted the upgrade. The initial install configuration folders were located in E:\arcgisserver\config-store and this was a single-machine deployment. I should add that we successfully did the same upgrade on our Dev server, however that server does not have a partitioned storage drive - only C. Cheers, Orlo

Hi All I am trying to upgrade stand-alone ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 to 10.8. When running the installer it correctly detects the previous install on E drive and prompts the user to rename the directory and rerun installer. After rerun of the installer, it defaults the install files to C drive instead of E drive. Upgrade completes successfully but on loading the server manager we see a new install screen: Any ideas as to why this might be occurring? Thanks, Orlo

Hi Pamela. The response I received from my local esri support was that adding attachments with restricted editing was not possible in AGOL. A possible workaround is to create a feature layer view and use a view definition to only show features created in the last x minutes. This will allow time for the attachment to query the upload id of the feature, then hides the feature after the time has expired. Not ideal but I'm yet to find a better work around. Fortunately in my case, I was using App Studio and the team have included restricted editing functionality in recent releases of the Quick Report template.

Hi Krish You can hide fields by editing the QuickReportApp.qml around line 1034 in version 4.0. Just keep adding to the string the fields you wish to hide. Field names are case sensitive. if(fields[i].editable===true && fields[i].name!=root.typeIdField && fields[i].name!="field1" && fields[i].name!="field2") { Cheers, Orlo

Thanks Erwin. It looks like this is common behavior for hosted feature layers but I was hoping Quick Report could bypass this issue in a similar way to what the Survey123 app does. It would definitely make things easier for securing sensitive information within an editable publicly shared layer or layer view.

Erwin, Thanks for looking into this. I used your feature layer in a fresh sample Quick Report template but still encountered an error when adding attachments. I also tried adding the feature layer to a web map and experienced similar behavior where the feature gets created but the attachment doesn't get added.

Hi Are there any plans for Quick Report to support the feature layer edit settings below - with attachments enabled. I understand that Survey123 supports attachments with this particular editing configuration. Currently I cannot add attachments unless 'Add and update features' is selected, which disables the 'can't see any features' option.

Yes, what you are trying to do would be the most ideal scenario but I have yet to come across a way of doing this. The workaround has the user first enter their details one time on the SettingsPage and saves them. The AddDetailsPage then calls on the SettingsPage to pre-populate the required text fields. If you figure out a better solution please let me know, because this has been a major frustration of mine.

Hi Dave I've used the workaround and it does save the user details on closure and loads them on opening. The limitation of the workaround is that there's no option to pass the details from one page to another, in the same session. For example, if you change the user details on the SettingsPage - the new information will not be loaded onto the AddDetailsPage until the app is closed and restarted. I've tried a number of different options to resolve this but to no avail. Sorry I can't be of more assistance Cheers, Orlo

I managed to replicate this error using another ArcGIS Online organisation account. I created a new point feature layer with a blank non-nullable string field. When I edit the feature in a web map and select an attachment the image name remains greyed out. If you click on the feature after the edit has been applied it obviously shows no attachments. But what's even more confusing is that I can go back and re-edit the same feature and add the exact same attachment with no issue.
