Hi everyone, I recently watched the webinar for Pro 3D Basemaps. The webinar used a downloadable package with prepared data, and tasks to follow. I would like to employ the same tasks just in my own ppkx file to creater a 3D Basemap. I downloaded the package off of the ArcGIS Solutions for Local Government page and installed the add in. If i…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Jesse, You only have to install the deployment tool once per Pro install. After that you can use the deployment tool to copy the various solutions from our org to your org. From there you can download the chosen solution to your local machine or make it available to the rest of your organization. However this crash should not happen…
We have a field (EventID) in our database (APDM) that behaves as the unique identifier for each feature . We have used a class extension that would generate a GUID value and populate this field only if the field was NULL. Is it possible to have Attribute Assistant behave in this same fashion? I have tried using the GUID option, the Copy Field…(Show moreShow less)
Trying to change the Illinois state plane projection in the local government model to represent the correct projection for our city. Seem like it should be rather straight forward but having a surprising amount of difficulty, thanks.
I am running ArcGIS 10.5.1 I have tried this workflow at least 7 times and it is not working for me. try1 is an empty gdb. Importing the xml to gdb works if you do not change the spatial reference. Changing the spatial reference as instructed consistently causes issues for me. Any thoughts?
I am looking for a way to store parcel lineage in the parcel fabric. As part of our parcel maintenance, we are required to keep a table of parcel lineage to interface with our tax CAMA system. The existing historical flag in the parcel table tells me that a parcel has been retired, but does not record the parent/child lineage of the parcel…(Show moreShow less)
Unfortunately, a parcel can have multiple parents. Manually entering a list exponentially increases the chance for typos and this data is directly fed to our property appraisal system where it is critical that mistakes are reduced.
Look here: Collect supporting documentsPolling allows files such as photos and PDFs to be submitted along with comments. To turn on this capability, enable attachments on the table layer prior to publishing or from the details page of the feature layer item. Create Crowdsource Polling Layers - Crowdsource Polling | ArcGIS Solutions for Local…
IIF and IsNull...have reviewed a number of posts here but I am having issues getting my scripting to work. I am trying to build a rule to populate a Name field based on values in one of a number of other fields, if there are non-null values in one of the other fields. For the first test I am including one IIF statement. If PARCELID is not…(Show moreShow less)
I am trying to use the arcgis solutions deployment tool for the first time and I keep getting this error. (none type object has no attribute type) see screen shot. I cant find anything about it. Anyone seen this before?
Eric and Chris, thanks for taking the time to figure this out. Glad to know I wasn't just doing something wrong. I agree that it is very frustrating to have this bug on live solutions being promoted as a super easy way to create a new app. I was able to create another different solution as a test but the one I actually wanted (any of the capitol…
Hi, I am trying to prepare my City's old parcel polygon layer for migration into a parcel fabric. When using the 'Load a Topology to a Parcel Fabric' tool all the parcels come across except for the ones that are 'isolated' (ie. they consist of a single line that opens and closes itself.) Each of these single line polygons return as a 'Line…(Show moreShow less)
OK so i have been banging my head against my desk for 2 weeks now with this project. I have 2 layers 1 is a zoning layer for the city and the other is the parcels. I need to get the zoning information into each specific parcel. This is easy up to the point where i have a parcel that is duel zoned or multi zoned. This is where im getting…(Show moreShow less)
Try: Add a field to your parcels that is set up the same as the name or zone type of your zones polygons. Select a particular zone poly Make a spatial selection of your parcels where the center is within the selected zone plygon Calculate the parcel zone field = zone polygon name field I've done this sort of thing in python that makes…
