I have successfully installed the Web Adaptor on my server with windows server 2012 and IIS 8.5. After authenticating I'm taken to the configuration page where I add my ArcGIS servers to the Web Adaptor, but instead of the normal configuration page, I'm getting "HTTP Error 503 - Service unavailable." After this happens the ArcGISWebAdaptorAppPool in IIS stops. IIS and the other sites in IIS are still accessible, just not Web Adaptor. I've tried installing the ArcGIS 10.2 Web Adaptor (IIS) .NET 4 Support and Trust Patch but I'm still having the same issue.
I've been able to install Web Adaptor with no problems using IIS 8 and below. Could this just be due to IIS 8.5 not being supported? Or is there additional configuration that needs to be established before this works?
