Add Expression to popups?

Is there a way to add an expression into a popup?  Such as ([Bridge Clearance] - 3)?  It appears that I need to have a field already calculated to the appropriate expression value.

No, at this time, it is not possible to add expressions to popups.

Are there any plans to add this functionality? I think it would extremely useful. I have a map layer that is symbolized utilizing one field (population) normalized by another (area) to show population density. With the ability to put an expression the pop-up, there is no    way for a user to see the definitive value. They will only see the range that is being symbolized for that area. Thanks.
