When i query for larger features i get esri.config.defaults.io.proxyUrl is not set error, can anybody explain me what is the need of proxyurl how should i set this url , what should it point to , i am running Websphere and ibm http server.
It is considered good form to search the forums before posting a question since often someone else has already asked and answered your question. In this case, I found Kelly Hutchins answered this question just a few months ago:
